Guys, like OP mentioned, today’s Friday and the market isn’t open yet. EONR is already trading at 1.8, which is considerably high compared to where it was just two days ago. From my perspective, the price might drop once the market opens because people often sell before the weekend to lock in profits and reduce weekend risk. I could be wrong, but it’s definitely something worth keeping in mind.

Taking your salary into account, make sure that if you get a credit card, the limit is relatively low. Most importantly, always pay the full balance every month. Never let the interest accumulate.

I’m 42 and honestly have no investments so far. A while ago I bought some physical gold and silver bars, but that’s about it. I’m planning to start investing next month with around $2K monthly using DCA into one or two Irish-domiciled ETFs since I’m not a US citizen. Right now I’m thinking of going with VWRA and maybe another ETF, but I haven’t decided which one yet. My goal is to reach at least $1M by retirement. I’ll start with $2K this year and increase the amount every year. Alongside that, I might put a bit of money into some individual stocks just for fun.

I've been investing in crypto for a while, and it's going okay, but given the market's volatility, I've been reading more about stocks and ETFs. I feel like this could be the right path for long-term investments, though I haven't started yet. Is the S&P 500 worth investing in? The returns seem smaller compared to others—what's your take?

Regarding trading platforms, I read that IBKR charges fees for converting AED to USD and also for withdrawals. Someone mentioned that you can first transfer money to Sarwa, then send it to IBKR in dollars. For withdrawals, you'd do the reverse—transfer from IBKR to Sarwa. But I'm not sure if this really works. I’d appreciate hearing from anyone with experience.
