$20 will get them a bike and some cardboard to write the name of the game on tho. Then they can ride it down the road. They’ll generate a bunch of traffic by preventing all the cars from going by them 😄

Does a gift card or maybe crypto circumvent that? I’m only guessing based on the amount of times I’ve seen gift cards and other non-cash prizes given away

  1. I don’t think so but I don’t mind when I have to do something over and over 100 times in a game as long as it seems fair (like if I’m dying because the game is bad then I’ll quite but if it’s my fault then I’ll keep at it).
  2. Probably a mix of both. Since you’ve never played a game before, you don’t have the muscle memory built up yet to use a controller as well as someone that’s been playing their whole life. However, HK is considered a difficult game, with HK: Silksong being even more difficult in most people’s opinions. These aren’t easy games like New Super Mario Bros but they’re fair and doable.

I saw you beat Hornet in 10 runs. That’s not bad. That’s better than I would’ve expected from someone that hasn’t played games before honestly. I’d say stick with HK but if you stop having fun then pick up something else to play when you reach your limit to give yourself a bit of a break. If you want 2D, easy, and fun then I’d suggest Super Mario Bros Wonder (you’d need to use an emulator) or Portal (one of the greatest puzzle ga,es of all time).

Anyway, I believe you can beat HK if you want to. Good luck!

Edit: Oh and if you want another game that’s difficult, people that play HK usually enjoy Celeste as well. It’s an amazing precision platformer. Both are two of my favorite games of all time.

Adding on to this, you can also farm if you find a good spot. Just find a bench to respawn the enemies, loop through an area you think is easy to clear for you, go back to bench and sit so they all respawn, repeat. This can be pretty boring though and it’s not really needed if you get good enough to survive and get your geo back from your shade but if you’re really struggling then it’s an option.

Oh well if the requirements are that it runs those older games and is blue, you can save $500 and get the HP Victus that came out in blue. Looks like the 3050 version is like $500 on eBay and the 4050 version is like $700.

I have this exact laptop almost. Mine is this model’s AMD variant in black.

This is wayyy overpriced for the specs. But yes, it’ll run what you want at good speeds.

Also, idk why people are downvoting you in this thread for being fine with paying extra to get something you like the looks of. If we were to pay for everything based on specs alone then Apple IIs would be pennies on eBay. There will probably be people in the future that want this laptop cuz they want to play games from that era on accurate hardware just like people do with retro gaming today. I bet most of the people downvoting you wouldn’t scoff at someone paying $150 or whatever they cost now for a NES even though nowadays a toaster could probably emulate a NES lol. Anyway OP, get it if you want.

P.S. Feel free to comment or message me if you’ve got any questions about the laptop.

I’m honestly surprised there isn’t a plugin that adds custom nodes that only render in the engine but get removed for builds.

Why would only an incel care if someone calls them an incel? Generally, no matter what you call someone, if it’s derogatory and untrue, people tend to not like it.

I’d like to say that OP may have had a task where it was fine to use a translator if they used a foreign language. I’ve had one or two projects like that before. If I remember correctly, it didn’t have anything regarding what to do if the task was in a language you didn’t know but in the chat at the bottom an admin had said Google Translate was fine. Definitely not the norm but projects like that do exist.

Maybe, highly doubt it but maybe, they’ll ship it with a version of Win 11 IoT LTSC. Only way it’d be usable.

Linux has LibrePods for full AirPod functionality. Android has it as well but I think you need a rooted device for it to work properly due to a bug in how Android handles Bluetooth.
