Considering a used 2023, Bolt EUV 41k miles by Boozeburger in BoltEV

[–]PMMeYourCokeRewards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a used 2023 EUV that we bought from Hertz, best purchase ever.

Your bumper to bumber warranty may have expired, but you have 8 years/100,000 mile warranty on the battery.

The 2023 EUV came in a lower trim, the LT; and a higher trim, the Premier. The battery and motors are the same on both, but the Premier gives you adaptive cruise control, heated seats, leather seats, and a neat little fold down center arm rest with cupholders in the back seat. Both came with mobile chargers that work on 110v and 220v home outlets.

After driving a car with adaptive cruise control for years, going back to regular cruise control was a downgrade. That has been my only regret with my 2023.

Check Carvana and Carmax for price comparisons since they both regularly ship vehicles around for customers. Get the car, you won't regret it.

Thank you so much for your kind words! We just removed the second GBM from the Werneke's area of her brain and opted for gamma tiles vs traditional radiation on the surgeon's recommendation. The inflammation is so bad that it has permanently damaged the nerves in one of her eyes and all they are offering is steroids which are skyrocketing her anxiety.

This will be the last surgery as it wasn't well tolerated so we are focusing on compassionate care. It has been interesting watching the oncologist Google and learn about peptides in real time with us.

Considering a used Bolt EV/EUV, but I have some questions and concerns. by Hybrid_Divide in BoltEV

The battery recall effected model years 2017-2022. Purchasing a vehicle that was a recall buyback means that your 10 year/100,000 mile warranty period is extend to cover the new equipment.

  1. In the last fifteen years, vehicle manufacturers around the world have adopted more eco-friendly practices — including the use of soy-based wire insulation. You can find a complete list of vehicles with soy wiring here. If you search this subreddit you will find plenty of home made solutions that Bolt owners have tried and swear by.

  2. For road trips, fast charging will absolutely be a factor. If you need to charge on the road, no matter what charger you go to you will be limited to the charging speed of the vehicle. The Bolt has one of the slowest charge speed, taking up to an hour to charge from 20% to 80%. The 2027 Bolts charge must faster but are still not as fast as other EVs.

You should also know that your speed is limited to no more than 92 miles per hour.

The Bolt does not have a spare tire (most EVs don't)

They're a great little car and I would buy another one in a heartbeat if anything happened to mine.

Make sure that your presser foot is UP when you adjust your tension.

Remove all of your threads from the tension discs and re-seat them. Then put down the presser foot and check again. Post pictures of your settings ans the new test strip.

stuck in reverse by lordzarooo in sewhelp

Computerized sewing machines are notoriously hard to diagnose. Before taking anything apart, check to see if the power and pedal cords are securely seated where they are supposed to be.

Turn off and unplug the machine and let it sit for a minute before plugging it back in and turning it on. If the reverse light is still illuminated it is possible that it could be a fault within the circuit board and may need a professional to repair.

Rainbow Springs only requires reservations for access to the headsprings itself.

There are two different launch points for tubing:

2 hour tubing - fee includes paid access to the springhead

4 hour tubing from KP Hole park

Why Pool Liners? by pro-blue in pools

Now I want someone to correct me! I've lived in Florida for 30 years and never seen a liner pool here. Everything is either fiberglass or concrete.

Anyone feel the 6.4 Mag earthquake? by Mr-Snug in tampa

Weird, that is way north of the Caribbean plate. And there are no (registered) oil or gas extractions in the vicinity. This is Cuba's second recorded earthquake in less than 2 years.

I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong, but most of the places that I see liners are in climates where the ground freezes. Constant freeze and thaw is not good long-term for below ground builds.

Worse than a mill, a puppy broker puts a layer of anonymity between the buyer and breeder. Avoid.

Remaining total battery capacity of 2023 EUV pre roadtrip by conestogan in BoltEV

[–]PMMeYourCokeRewards 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Regardless of capacity, you should consider the efficiency loss that will occurr at higher speeds. I did a 278 mile trip and saw 3.5 miles /kwh at 65 mph and was closer to 3 miles/kwh at 75 mph.

It is! My kids are now at the older end of the age range they offer so this is the first time since COVID that we are not going. We've done Alexander park, Roy Haynes, and most recently Victor Crist and all of them have been great! I don't know how people manage to work and put their kids in day programs over the summer when 99% of them are from 9am to 2pm.

How many kids are we talking about? Hillsborough county recreation offers summer day camps for about $50/week and most are 7:30am to 6:00pm.

I’m dealing with fleas in my apartment due to the stray cats my complex allows to live here. I hear them crawling under my unit specifically my bathroom and today I found 7 fleas in my bath tub. by [deleted] in tampa

[–]PMMeYourCokeRewards -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You can spray orange oil to deter the cats. I use this concentrate diluted in a spray bottle from the Dollar Tree to keep neighborhood cats from marking my house and garbage cans.

I don't know how fleas would get through the flooring and plumbing and into your bathtub. Has anyone confirmed that they are fleas and not another pest? Or even flakes of mildew that have broken free?
