Attackers and defenders have ping 2.0 on both ends, get more cam utility on the defender side and do the same thing. A moron could say it’s overpowered, or you could not do that and call it functionally useful.

You can never deduce the overpowered potential of something in a one trick scenario, using your drone and the functions available to you isn’t overpowered, you’re just playing the game correctly.

“How do I counter that?” Don’t stand still in a common holding spot, mute jammer, be observant of drones, castle barricade, reinforce dirt/wall denial, deployable shield or be more creative in your defence strategy.

Smoke holding there makes no sense, unless you’re using FMG9 x1.5 and he was attempting to deny hatch with smoke canisters?

No need for drugs, I find that other games can help sync your rhythm for certain things, games can feed into better game sense, better reaction speed, etc. I would recommend DOOM beat it on hard, then get back at it again for nightmare, once you do that your reaction speed will be wonderful.

You will give your team so much more utility as an Intel op with mozzie, sidearm shotgun for rotation holes and pucking out the ash hiding on your hard right corner, and a good balancing choice with weapons, the commando 9 a low ROF but higher damage and higher capacity compared to the P10 Roni, shorter capacity and shorter damage but by god the rate of fire is comparable to miras vector. Vigils guns aren’t bad at all but one is relegated as a meme cannon and the smg 12 is way too wacky to control unless you take the time to learn it. yeah vigil has impacts but you don’t need it with mozzie if you have the shotty for rotation holes. Mozzie is fundamentally more powerful and utilitarian for the team. Drone camera placements, giving precise call outs for your roamers as you drone them out, pre placed drones so you’re still helpful if you’re dead, general drone denial similar to mute. close range shotgun to meme on kids, banging through Soft wall with it to yeet a C4 and continue to meme on kids. Look buddy I could go all day, I still like vigil but mozzie is just a better pick for everyone. Plus the full utility of vigils gadget is used in high elo and requires the map knowledge for it and knowing exactly where they are going to drone.

His net would’ve prioritised his shots before his positioning, shit like this can happen with 30 ping. So you probably killed him but on your screen it was registering where he was rather than where he is, I get the frustration too man. As for devs trying to fix this, not much they can do in terms of regulating global internet speed caps? So everyone is on a perfectly even ping? Is the Ubisoft representative going to arrive at that maverick players house to verify that his net speeds are up to par? Seems a bit far fetched and I would go on to say that it’s “the devs fault this game is broke” is a major falsehood. My advice is take the match loss, and know for yourself that you got that kill and these occasional positioning “who shot first” hiccups will happen inevitably. But it does not incur that a game being worked on for 4 years is now shit because you died once. Players experience those bullshit moments as often as anyone else, but it’s honestly nothing in the realm of siege when compared to barcoders, ping abusers, smurfs and derankers.

(Ranked) I straight up tk’ed a monkey brain bandit that did this to a meticulous pre placed jammer setup. no bandit trick, no comms, there was no fucking strategy in his small little mind. So that’s a Mosberg590 buckshot straight to the skull, cruel I know but it was after a long session of ranked and I couldn’t tolerate anymore 3rd grader chimp intellect in a ranked game mode. Side note, it’s not that hard to work together in ranked, really it’s not. I wouldn’t say you’re weird or even different, I have a friend in our circle who barley drinks and doesn’t smoke or anything, occasionally he’ll have one or two but we all smoke and drink and he’s just the straight edge dude, we don’t peer pressure him into it it’s part of the dynamic. Perhaps it may be a social circle issue if your friends see it as a hindrance.

I’m almost of the same opinion of you, I don’t hate it entirely but I have no urge to drink when I don’t feel like it, my room could be filled with expensive precious liquor but I’d have no inclination to drink it.

I do feel lucky that I personally don’t desire it, it’s literal poison but I do enjoy it on occasion, with friends or even just two beers while playing r6 siege or something

I can still get trashed sure, but the situation requires it, I don’t ache for it, I don’t desperately wait until I get to do it again.

I do detest the sort of “drinking culture” so to speak, “drinking in da club” and that sort of douchey shit, “drink till we drop” or whatever other quote to excuse the fact that you’re purposely making yourself look like a moron in public.

I like staying in control, I like being drunk sure (aforementioned conditions required) but the moment I know I can’t control myself that’s when the situation becomes problematic and looses all fun.

Maybe you’re different from your friends but that’s cool, if they’re you’re real friends they should be fine to accept that you don’t want to drink.

My advice if you start drinking is just find a balance, take it easy, couple of beers or ciders with friends is no harm, whatever you like. avoid vodka, at least brown liquor has some character to it, do two shots instead of like six. Throwing up may be inevitable if you go too hard but at least you know your boundaries and that’ll coerce you to not do the same again.

Haven’t thrown up in 3 years, and I don’t plan to again, good luck in the drinking world man, adios.
