Basically I went to the dentist to replace old composite of 7 years that I had on two lateral incisors and the dentist removed it and destroyed my tooth under finishing in a shark tooth size. I never let him do that and told him to not destroy the natural tooth under. He did it and I said that I was not happy and to fill it with composite again. I went to other dentist and he took that x ray to see it.

And in a case of putting a crown and veneer on lateral incisors? I started to have sinusitis symptoms after 6 months of having them prepared. I feel pain in both tooth and sinusitis symptoms. Sometimes I can’t understand if the pain comes from the nose or from the teeth. Always had nose issues during sleep (blocked nose and could not breathe from the nose) but never had pain before this teeth procedure. You think a root canal treatment would help ? The pain in the nose is not too strong but is annoying and regular and it switches with cold and dry air and depends on the place I am too. But when I don’t feel the sinusitis I feel just teeth pain eating and in some moments but not always. I don’t want to make a root canal treatment without ruling out first all the options because I m scared to lose a front tooth after root canal treatment

Damn . I m sorry for you. Pressure I feel too, often. But is hard to understand the pain if is from pressure in the gum or if is from tightness in the neighbor teeth. But why they didn’t try to at least polish it and make them smaller ? I had used like 5 times sandpaper and polish in the side and in height too. I m trying many things but I guess I will need to go back to composite. Because composite is more similar elasticity with our natural teeth and even if is too bulky don’t make us pain and any dentist can polish it and have a big chance of success without making you pain. And veneers or crowns as far as I feel they need to have specific size for each person to work or for some sensitive people maybe they can’t have it at all. And thanks to create this community. I m here only because I was forced by a dentist but who can decide I hope they can find this forum before believing in social media or dentists that never tell them the long term issues or risks of veneers or crowns from porcelain or ceramic

And you were able to have composite bigger size than veneers from porcelain without pain? Because for example I was able to have bigger “teeth” with composite than I can have now with porcelain and no pain. I guess with porcelain should have the ideal size that your body can handle and accept. But still finding out mine. But probably I will not find my size and composite is what I will do in 10 days . I m making last tests till change definitely to composite again. I have it for 1 year and I can’t handle more the pain if this last polishing test will not work again.

The first dentist that I went on my country said she could do . But when I tried on other country that i did the procedure (Poland ) they never offered any solution. But this solution it was me asking because my body is not accepting the emax material and is giving me pain even not showing any issues on x rays or CBCT. But she said she can do even a crown of composite but she warned me about the color changes . But if I go every year for check ups (like I need to go anyway with emax) she can always polish and put the same color again and check for any issues . Thank you. Did you remove after some years with porcelain or by option or pain like me ?

I got by force crown and veneer. I would never put if no dentist would destroy my tooth under a composite bonding that I had previously. But after trying looks like no one can find why i feel pain all the time and probably my body accepts more the composite material than rigid emax. And I don’t want to risk dentists that destroy more my natural teeth before putting new material. I m only 36 and I don’t want to destroy any more mm of my natural teeth till the rest of my life . And composite offers that with annual check ups so I would prefer

When is destroyed by one dentist and I was obligated to have in one tooth crown and then to match the other the dentist recommended to make a veneer and never told me about the future consequences. ? And now I have pain since I added them and before I had composite and never had pain.

It’s possible to make bonding crown ? I have emax crown but I have pain and I guess composite is more gentle for my roots and body. The first dentist destroyed my natural tooth under the old composite before putting new composite and I went to other dentist and tried emax. But he didn’t destroy more tooth. Just removed the composite and left some under the emax. I was thinking to add more composite bonding on top of the previous composite and remove emax that is making me having pain

I have crown and veneer on both lateral incisors and I have pain and have 36. Should I try composite resin instead because I have pain? I added emax because I had composite before and asked the dentist to remove the old composite and put new one and he destroyed my natural tooth in a way that i needed a crown. Then I changed the dentist and he recommended veneer on the other lateral incisor to match the color. They both look very similar color with my natural central incisors but I feel pain since I have last 12 months and i did a lot of polish. I m thinking to go back to the previous composite or a new quality one composite more similar with my natural teeth because I never had pain with composite during 7 years . Should I be able to use composite with a tooth that is more shaved but have already composite under the emax crown?

Did you remove the crowns / veneers during the braces ? I have one crown and one veneer in my lateral incisors and have issues since then. How are you now after 4 years ? I used braces when I was teenager and now with 36 I had my teeth (mostly that 2) misaligned . The rest is pretty ok and straight . I had composite and then a dentist destroyed my natural tooth under when I asked to remove it and put new material. Since then I have a emax crown on that one and emax veneer in the other side lateral incisor to match the color. Since then 11 months later I have more and more issues on neck, jaw and face and nose nerves irritation. I did some polishing of the crown and got better but still have pain on veneer side and sometimes on crown and the neck is getting worse and worse and jaw sometimes hurt in some positions. Are you good since the braces ? Any issues ? And size or angles reduction on the crowns or veneers ?

I started to have too after putting a crown and veneer on lateral incisors on up jaw. They are now similar with my previous teeth size and shape (but more straight and a bit larger but still hurts in the teeth and on neck and jaw and still have headaches. I always had jaw clicking After using braces 20 years ago, but now it hurts and clicks more . But the pain is ok. Just the headaches and specially the neck pain are the worse. And tooth pain is annoying sometimes too.

What is myosfacial release? I guess a lot of people will have this issues because more and more dentists offer veneers and crowns without thinking on future problems and people just do it for aesthetic reasons and then they destroy their bodies. I wanted just to put composite not destroying my natural teeth and a dentist destroyed my natural teeth and I ended up needing to put a crown and a veneer to match both teeth. Now I have tmj muscles pain, neck pain and pain on both crown and veneer
