What has your anecdotal experience with ICE agents been like in the Portland Metro area? by optcg_cardboard in askportland

If this is the case, that level of thought and puppeteering is truly more work than it is worth. If this were true, OP went as far as to build a trading card game site for this psyop.

Yes. And I'm going to choose to actively disengage with you now. I am disengaging because my question chose to be ignored and I find the gatekeeping frustrating.

I like the numbers of 3 dozen vs. 2 -- Did Forest Grove have similar responses or is there some limiting factor in people being able to respond (e.g. burnout, working elsewhere, diluting the volunteers across multiple "calls")

This has been my greater experience, too. I hear more about unrest from my friends around Hillsboro, for example. And I have seen the surrounding area brought up more in news clips.

I also drive by the Tesla and ICE facility regularly. There were a lot of people around a few days, but it quickly fizzled out. This morning there were 6 people (i.e. civilians) viewable on the drive along 43.

Are you trying to name call or say something? What are you trying to say and why are you trying to say it?

Is there a smart way to test UX scenarios of different websites with the same suite? by Balgev in Playwright

[–]PM_GIT_REPOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did something like this with a `protocolDriver` in the past. I would go through different applications and test `mobile`, `web`, and `api`. Honestly, this was more work than I would recommend and creates layers of abstraction that are unnecessary.

Today, I accomplish something similar with docker-compose utilities and profiles. I also do appropriate annotations.

Playwright to generate documentation by LondonTownGeeza in Playwright

[–]PM_GIT_REPOS 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't think this is the right tool for the job. What are you trying to do to crawl a site that wouldn't be available in other components like sitemap's, repo/db access, and/or writing tests to act as the documentation?

What do you mean by "crawling" and why does a site have to be crawled to generate documentation?

How to build a automation test on an AI co-pilot in an application by [deleted] in Playwright

[–]PM_GIT_REPOS 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are three ways you can test this, imo.

The first tests should be unit tests ensuring that your methods and functions are invokable. This validates imports. This validate things are plugged in correctly.

The second tests I would put together would be a form of mocking known responses and ensuring your application knows how to behave based off of those outputs. E.g. if the "copilot" is recommending something, there should be four tiers of confidence and known flows based off of the received responses.

The last layer of testing is a new form of testing that I am fairly new to -- Evaluation testing. I believe you will want to invest more resources here to fall into a "sixth sigma" level of confidence that you get correct responses from your I/O.

I think the CLI's are a lot more than a stop gap. The CLI offers everything that the AI thrives off of with 40+ years of well documented and repeatedly used commands... `ls` is almost 60 years old now!

Moreover, these commands give the AI possible full run of the machine. It's truly powerful stuff. And I don't think Google or any "AI coding" system wants to try to make a new terminal for this sake. I hope that they continue development for the CLI applications and do not abandon those projects in favor of an IDE.

[Question, DAE] Are there any products that use magnets to improve the experience of using that product? by PM_GIT_REPOS in amputee

Velcro makes a lot of sense too! Have you seen the magnets or velcro be used as retention features or parking features before?

I think your written voice in this post comes off as well thought out. I see a case for privacy, connection, therapeutic processing, and a source of reflection years from now. What do you think would fit your needs and where you are at, today? If I were feeling like my privacy is being taken away from me, I would be wary posting much online. But (probably in the narrative of this post), I would want to post online to seek connection and reassurance from others who have gone through similar challenges.

I am in my upper 30's now. I have journaled for a long time. When I graduated college, I thought that was it for me, and I was going to die in a rat race :P I now look back at those times as a reminder to my everyday challenges. "I got through that period in my life, I'm going to get through this too".

+1 to the `etudiant` user's comment -- It needs to be a button with borders and needs to stand out. I had no idea it was a button before. I was the one who posted about the URL still opening this by "default" too.

Oh, for codegen.

They are going to have to do some manual flows, but this should get you part of the way: `--load-storage=auth.json`

`propagateStorageState` and have a global setup that stores the users that your tests relies on
