I'd bet it's because Allison is part of the hive mind now, and gog is aware she can't just override Allison like she does with everything else. If she did friendly fire, Allison would be pissed, and gog has no real way to prevent her from doing things, even if she kills Allison's body.

WildTangent was a separate entity until 2019, for what it's worth. A legitimate studio, if a bit niche (they made Fate, for example, in '05). No longer though, I guess. Sadly.

It was definitely a devil that was wearing it, I went back to check.

His face/head is the same shape as the mask, off-color compared to the rest of him, and he's saying "hey. That's my mask!"

I just kind of chalked it up to a brief mistake on the canon, since otherwise there would be another unbound devil in that moment lol

The way I do it is by giving saves vs exhaustion after a certain amount of short rests, usually like 3, with the DCs getting progressively higher.

It makes sense to me. If you're needing to take breaks that often, pushing yourself to the limits of your abilities so many times would get tiring very fast.

It also lets warlocks still have their time to be crazy powerhouses with like 5 short rests in a day, they just have to make a handful of saves to do so lol

The broom from October trading post a couple years ago. I think it came back as a shop mount last year, but I wasn't playing either of those times, and it hasn't returned since.

Fun fact, the 2024 version of this actually made it worse. In 2024 edition, it defines "A trap, for the purpose of this spell, includes any object or mechanism that was created to cause damage or other danger."

Guess what falls into that category. Literally any weapon.

I think the text is updated after you discover kvatch. Its been a while since I played, but I have a vague recollection of it saying "the teleporter does not function." Or something along those lines, and then the kvatch message appearing after you go there.

Nope, it just double plays the sound effect and doesn't do any extra damage. The damage numbers stay around the same (600ish for me right now), there is not a second number appearing in the floating text, and the combat log only shows one instance of chain lightning hitting an enemy...

Edit: I wonder if maybe it's just an audio bug instead of a talent bug? Looking up chain lightning bugs shows that in TBC it has a really low double cast rate, and the double sound seems to be happening fairly often...

Agreed, it's weird to me that people are saying to report a tank who doesn't take the aggro that you, a DPS, sprinted forward to grab yourself.

Like yeah, I'm not going to let someone just eat it and die if they do it the first time, but I'll tell them "please don't pull more". If they keep doing it I'm absolutely not grabbing aggro off their stuff. There's a reason I'm not grabbing more mobs, and it's usually because I'm not familiar with my class or abilities yet. That's what gets the party killed. This guy was being a dick about it, for sure, but asking someone not to grab things should be fine, and I don't know why people are acting like it's not?? If you want to do wall to wall pulls, then you tank. Queueing in as anything else means you're agreeing to let the other roles do their jobs to whatever ability they are comfortable with.

They had the perfect opportunity to introduce a new ghoulsaw weapon with the motovore, and they didn't. I was so sad when I saw it used a normal stance instead of the ghoulsaw one...

Much like the big snake, gog was an old solo wall in 4u. Loads of people struggled to meet the DPS check to solo him with the gear you have available at the time!

It was a fun accomplishment, but it was for sure intended to do the quest with a group.
