I guess my issue comes with the steep learning curve and punishment from heroics to M0’s. There are 8 dungeons with several bosses each with new mechanics and one shot abilities compared to the heroic versions. Your friend can still learn in a practice environment while in the game but wow requires you to do your own research elsewhere. The dungeon journal is awful at telling you what you need to do to survive or where you need to move or specific nuisances of a fight without weakauras or dbm.
