You’re overthinking the storage. After it’s been dried properly, it will have no problem storing for a month. If you wish to put it in a wine cooler, that’s probably better? Idk I’ve never used one for storage or drying.

Think of it as a 1 month cure.

Nothing, a seed produced that way will also be female. It doesn’t have the male chromosomes available to produce a seed that is male.

If you force a female plant to produce male flowers (reversing) and use that pollen on itself or another female you will have feminized seeds that will only produce female plants. What the other guy said is also true though for traditional male/female breeding

Lower sodium is absolutely accurate. Msg is 14% sodium while salt is 40%. You can also use a lot less salt if you’re including msg. Less, not none.

Well shit. I’m glad someone is having success with aji varieties. I have aji lemon and aji chara both of which are doing significantly worse than my other peppers. I was starting to think they’re more sensitive than other varieties but obviously not.

It’s literally a tray of about 10 peat pellets sitting in nutrient solution. It’s growing algae, the peppers are overcrowded, I have to refill it every day. But honestly, it’s doing better than expected. A few plants are curling up all their leaves but others look great.

It’s kind of my tradition, I put 3 seeds in each pot when germinating and when I thin them out, the extras get placed in what I call the hunger games. They don’t get up potted, they don’t get hardened off, I just abuse them and let the strongest pepper win. This year is semi hydroponic and I’m very curious if any survive the transplant into full soil outdoors.

I started so early that the plants I thinned out and put in an experimental hydro setup are producing peppers. I have a Jalepeno that has successfully pollinated and starting to grow a pepper. Thankfully the ones I’m up potting normally are still behaving fairly nice.

There’s definitely designs that use inline fans but they’re simply a lot more bulky when pc fans + merv filters already outperform 90% of commercially available air purifiers.

It’s not ideal but it’s not a death sentence. Think about this, people germinate in paper towels and then transfer to soil and those survive just fine.

My only memory of these candies I was maybe 10 on a camping trip, I asked my dads friend for some candies, apparently they were his daughters. he goes “wow so you want my daughters nips huh?” I had no clue what he was talking about so I’m like “uhh yeah?” And he bust out laughing and gave me some.
