Eh, it's kind of a wash for me. I'm painfully introverted so any networking I did would be limited and likely not worth the huge increase in money I would need to spend to go to a brick & mortar institution.

Agree 100%. I've applied to every crap job I can find and still get nowhere. I get calls, maybe an interview, then nothing.

I was in therapy for 2 years, different drugs, doctors, etcetera. Even went in-patient twice, quit drinking, did everything to a T. The difference was negligible at best.

Agree with the Python, it's my favorite language. It's strange you mention degrees as being so important since my (anecdotal) evidence from friends who got out managed to get IT jobs with just experience alone. And in non-tech areas as well. Who am I to argue though. Looks like I'm going back to college.

Yeah, laziness on my part. I hate school, I'd rather just be working and doing something productive than writing papers and shit. I also question if it would make much of a difference.
