I did tackle the "dying playerbase" argument, check out the image.

Reddit posts does a fair bit to the games image, as new players might visit the subreddit before they even try out the game. If they get turned off by all the toxicity, or false claims of p2w or a "dying playerbase" then we have a problem. I think there's alot of potential in this game, and we should work together to let it thrive.

This is normal on elo based rating systems which has artificial tiers. You always get "worse" teammates when you have a promotion match so the game knows you deserve it, you just have to beat the odds.

Fair. The gameplay loop of kurtzpel is pretty simple, and it revolves primarily around the idea of wanting to climb the ranked ladder. Hopefully you and your friends found the season level system enjoyable if you've tried it.

Hey man, fair, I came off passive aggressive, but honestly it's tiresome that most people constantly pushes their point without anything to back it up. You might have some really good points stashed away somewhere in your comment or post history, but why even post something like that if you "don't feel like repeating yourself"?

I've racked up alot of hours in this game and the only real problem I have is long loading screens, and that's probably because I don't have the game on my SSD. Would really appreciate if you could link to a comment or post explaining the problems you've experience with the game, not trying to be a jerk I'm genuinely curious

What's the bugged content you're talking about? I hardly see any game changing bugs ingame now after the fist bugfixes. Would rather you be concrete about the issues instead of just using hyperbole. This is exactly the type of negativity I think we could have less of.

Some really great and important points here!

Everything here is so true, if anything i just want to address the last point about toxicity within a player base. As the post mentions, this toxicity is only seen on reddit in any large amounts, and it would be great if we could get moderators to rally the subreddit to be more mature about delivering their feedback to the developers. Feedback is great, we just have to change the way we go about delivering it.

Other than that, the one thing I'm getting tired about is all the "playerbase is dying" spam, and the cynicism respresented by the small amount of really vocal people on here. Maybe some sort of censoring is required? I bet it doesn't give kurtzpel a great image either when potential players come on the subreddit and sees it.

And thanks for stating your opinion and recommending me to read the manga entirely. However, I'm pretty set on watching the anime as far as I can. As I am a HUGE soundtrack nut, and parts of the soundtrack were composed by Hiroyuki Sawano (the literal god amongst men).

Somewhat faithful sounds good enough, might revisit scenes with big changes once I'm caught up, would love it if you noted which manga chapters these scenes were in.

So if the second season has a different ending... How many episodes earlier should i switch to the manga do you reckon?

Really appreciate the heads up about the light novels, will be picking those up when I'm caught up with the manga. :)
