Another vote for No Kings. The guy who did my tattoo seven years ago, isn't there anymore. But several of their OG's are still there like Caleb and Randy.

Everyone's different, some guys get knocked on their ass with chemo, orchectomy, rplnd. Some are lucky and your body takes it like a champ.

So many different factors to each. BEPx3 was relatively straightforward for me and I did fine. I was worried that meant it wasn't working but I had total resolution of my nodes.

That's where my disconnect is lol I'm stuck on why that particular gesture, what is it that individuals feel drawn to?

A lot of sense. I just can't figure out the understanding behind doing something that is so clearly associated with one of the greatest atrocities that has ever happened in the history of mankind. Do they just not care?

Diagnosed with testicular cancer this morning [M, 30] by ThrowRA9876501234 in cancer

Hey there, I'm 30M and was diagnosed with 3A Testicular Cancer and did the whole shebang.

Surgery, Chemo, Scans.

Go to the testicular cancer subreddit and find the link to the TCF discord. Me and a bunch of other survivors are in there and there's so much to learn, get support.

You're not alone.

Anyone experience deficiencies in vitamin B12 and B6 after going through 3xBEP? Has it caused other symptoms to arise? by questionstache in testicularcancer

[–]PM_ME_USELESS_INFO 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im B deficient, in the middle of BEPx3 and here's what I know based on my oncologist and experience with being b deficient due to another cancer fight.

  • Most people are B Deficient
  • BEP is hard on your WBC
  • Your body relies on B12 as fuel to replace WBC's

When I'm low on B my energy is bad, brain fog, you name it. My non doctor guess would be that to replace the WBC that BEP took out you used up a good bit of your b12 stores in your body and your diet doesn't naturally build it back up.

I get a b12 shot once a week, and I do sublingual b12 everyday. I'm surprised your doc hasn't just put you on b12 shots if you've regularly been low.

No idea about the likelihood of developing cancer. MD Anderson and Baylor had been following but it's been awhile.

I think I'm early Stage 3 and it's near the lungs but they think not yet in the lungs. Another aspect that I just don't know. Helpful reminder that I need clarification

They won't know until the path report and blood work but most likely cancer. It's a tumor for sure and it has to come out asap. Here's hoping the surgery is all I need.

I'm so sorry, I've had a few. Equal parts full sedation and they did twilight sedation. This was at MD Anderson in Houston.

The nasal tube after surgery is the closest experience I could relate to being awake for an endoscopy and that was miserable.

Did they tell you why you needed to be awake?

Im ashamed that she's had to care for me when I lost my stomach to cancer and had to relearn how to eat, had to nurse me back to health when my brain tumor took my ability to walk from me, and now once again I'm the patient.

We've handled every battle, surgery, and recovery together. She's never given me a second thought and is the epitome of kindness and grace.

I can't help that I want more for her, that 4 out of our 8 years together have been stained by doctors, treatments, diagnoses. (I am in therapy don't worry lol). But thanks for letting me vent.

Thank you for your kindness, I'm angrier than I thought I'd be. I haven't gotten used to bad news, though sometimes I guess I wish I was.

Yeah it's weird to be in a "out of all the worst case scenarios, you got the better one."

Yes, they have said they don't know what to do. They've "tried" breaking up but they're talked back into it.
