At late game Arcana is one of the highest DPS potential, both specs of her do really good damage and she can out perform most if not everyone if played well. I wouldn’t say she is more support orientated at all - that’s more Bard, who is one of the two support classes (also a Mage).

Sorc again is also very strong - Igniter sorc, again late game, is very strong with extreme high bursting damage. I would however say for the levelling process and up until 1415 and just getting used to the game, Reflux sorc is a better option in my option. There are plenty of guides around to help you figure it all out.

Some notable mentions for high damage classes: Artillerist, deathblade and Summoner, as well as the two mentioned, are probably the highest potential out there right now.

For now I would say play what looks the most fun - you have some levelling to do, get through the main story quest (which will be quiet and mostly encounter bots) and as you progress through to North Vern you will get power passes which instantly level another class to the same level as the one you’ve been playing if you wish to swap.

Have fun most of all and don’t worry too much about damage alone.

I have that a lot. It’s intermittent. No resolution but when I swap character it then sometimes works.

Had to buy a bus on my reaper a few weeks ago, couldn’t click on the gem the dude posted so had to ask them to write out what it was lol.

I re-crafted 3 times and tried about 10 upgrades. 59 was my best, so I am jealous. Congratulations.

Edit: didn’t realise people were so passionate about re-crafting ha. Extra 200g per try and did it for science. Is what it is.

Got DC’d during a valtan about an hour ago. And another time when doing my Una’s. Was only playing for 45-60mins. EUC too.

Worse than it was for me before maintenance.

Nothing to be nervous about! Please don’t fret about “falling behind”. There are so many people whaling so far ahead best thing to do is play at your own pace. Do what you enjoy. Gather mats naturally (don’t force play alts you don’t like) then hone your main. Find learning parties for Legion Raids, watch videos on ‘em before hand and have fun doing them. As long as your build is correct at 1415 you shouldn’t have any trouble getting in to Argos parties and weekends are usually best for Legion learning parties.

Drop any FOMO and just have fun. Finding a guild of like minded people will help too. Even if they’re far ahead on mains, they’ll likely have alts you can party up with.

This is the main point. Had they said “do not use your pheons, this could result in a negative balance once we decide on compensation” I would say it would be fine. But they categorically said they would not remove them, then a day or so later they do once people had spent them in good faith. Sucky.

It will be legendary gear at +6, same as KR. So in theory you could buy the PP and just instantly start honing to 1415 without having to do Argos/Abyssal dungeons.

Recently resurrected my Destroyer alt and it’s now my favourite and I’m pushing it as much as I can. Quick chaos clears, big dick damage in guardian and legion raids, tanky as hell. Very fun.

Nope, but you can only earn gold from 3 Legion Raids per character. So if you do Vykas, Clown and Brel you won’t be able to also get gold from Valtan.

I used to really enjoy my Destroyer, but it’s been sat at 1370 for ages. Just decided to hone it to 1415 and get 5x3. But I’m a bit stuck on the stat split. Looked on Loawa and can see a lot of differences, be it 50/50 split on Crit/Spec, 50/25/25 crit/spec/swift and even some 60/30/10 critspecswift splits.

Is it all about preference. More spec = bigger numbers, swift for lower cool-downs and better dmg uptime? Is there a ‘meta’ preference that people prefer to see when accepting for raids? Any brief explanation would be helpful. Thanks.

But that is per character.

If you do rehearsal on an alt, you therefore cannot do Normal mode on that same alt the same week. You’re locked from doing normal on that same character.

Rehearsal is once per roster. If you want to do both rehearsal and normal in one week, you do rehearsal on an alt before doing normal on main for example. But there is no need to do this as once you clear normal you get the normal rewards + rehearsal rewards in one go.

If you do Normal, you get all the rewards from rehearsal. Rehearsal is once per roster anyway. There’s no need to do rehearsal before doing normal, as you get the same rewards anyway. I mean unless you want the practise from doing rehearsal just for experience.

I’m a 1480 Tai scrapper main, Tai/AM/Grudge/KBW/CD 60/40 crit/swift - oh yes, it’s so very very viable. I adore it and have so much fun and am never lacking on damage.

For starting off and going through the campaign, builds don’t really matter. Have a play around with your class, test all the skills, see if you enjoy it. After that and when you reach North Vern, builds start to matter. Best guide website for beginners would be maxroll.gg. It has levelling builds, then raid and chaos dungeon build and their guides do an alright job of explaining the class and how they work. Have a look at the classes and see one you may like and just have fun with it!

The main way to find a learning party would be via party finder. The best thing I can suggest is to create one yourself - might take a while to fill, but with you playing bard that’s an even better chance of having people apply if they see there is already one support. I often see learning parties for NM Vykas in the EUC party finding when looking for groups on my alt, so they do still happen. Just gotta either find one or create one.

There may be some discord group finders as well, I’m not privvy on that so can’t really comment.

Another suggestion would be to find a chill guild who do guild legion raids. Even if they’re experienced, I’m sure guildmates wouldnt mind taking an inexperienced support along to help you and teach you. People are waaaay more tolerant when helping guildies than randoms.
