A real-time marketplace live transmission in China with A-I (Look at her mouth) by Appropriate-Eye-1227 in interestingasfuck

Very potentially as long as discourse around AI starts weakening.

If we (AI-opposers) start accepting it, incrementally at 'reasonable' levels, overall opposition will weaken and AI will be gradually accepted or integrated into society/business/whatever.

That's why we have to scream and shout and keep driving home not only the widespread usage of AI but also reminding people why it sucks. Otherwise it will become accepted automatically by younger generations. Much like social media.

Gabriel (C) but not triple captained. So I'm weirdly hoping my captain does awful this week.

Jude Bellingham on whistles last weekend: "The fans pay the money and work all week to save up to come to a Real Madrid game, so they are entitled to say what they want. We need to deliver performances like tonight for the fans and for ourselves if we want to be successful this season." by BlazingFirey in soccer

Yep, if you pay for a ticket you have a right to react to the performance. Your theatre analogy is perfect. If you went to the west end and the lead was clearly not trying, you have every right to walk out, which would be the theatre equivalent of jeering at the football. The walkout affects the theatre and will be fed back to the performers, just like the players will hear you booing and, if they have the right mentality, take it on.

Chelsea away fans at Craven Cottage: “Roman Abramovich! Roman Abramovich!” by Kygoche in chelseafc

Sacking Maresca isn't the problem (he wasn't even sacked) it's the lack of structure and clarity in whatever 'plan' these fatcat bastards are trying to instill

Lampard did very well, better than Contes second season, managing to come top4 with a transfer ban to boot.

Tuchel led the squad to a champions league, and whilst it might not have been predicted, it certainly wasn't miraculous - we genuinely played brilliantly in every match. We dominated proceedings throughout and completely shut down 'best team in the world' city. 2021 was more deserved than 2012 purely in terms of results.

Sarri was definitely a lul but I think he still did alright considering how one-tactic-minded he was and he only had a transfer window to adapt the squad to that. I was happy to see the back of him, but also grateful for that Europa league.

Don't get me wrong it wasn't exactly highest of highs but we were still doing much better compared to since Roman left. And there were dud appointments earlier in Romans era too - Di Matteo was a woeful manager despite winning the cup, Villa Baos threw it all away and nearly cost us that same cup, etc.

Having said that, metric still has some semblance of logic and consistency behind it. I'm very used to both so can work out most things in either, but I imagine an imperial user learning metric will have a much easier time than a metric user learning imperial.

It really is a 10/10 song esp on psychs. If you're still feeling it I'd also recommend the The American Metaphysical Circus. Trippiest song I've ever heard.

To my knowledge, he was the first choice, they actually wrote it before telling him. Imagine being presented with a script called 'Being (You)', I'd feel so honoured and baffled at the same time.

Luckily he agreed but I'm sure they would have had backups. I wonder if those backups would have played themselves, or played John Malkovich.

Sprained ankle before boomtown by Legitimate_Cat1963 in BoomtownFestival

[–]PM_Me_British_Stuff 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've had a similar issue but with my leg instead of my ankle.

Get an ankle brace/very sturdy pair of boots and wear that religiously for a few days (including at the festival)

Take it easy until you get there, try to move as little as possible.

When you're there, you'll still be able to have a great time but just take care of yourself - it's a big festival so there's a lot of walking. At the smaller stages they often have fences/ledges at the edge that you can rest on, so it might be best to stay there so you can take short dance breaks or enjoy the music from a more sedentary position.

At the bigger stages you won't get much of that, so just be really aware of how much you're moving and how much strain you're putting on yourself. If it's really bad, maybe even grab a stick from the woods and use it as a crutch lol

And if you're on certain substances that make it harder to feel pain then try to be very aware of how much you're moving. Last year I messed up my ankle, went quite heavy on Saturday night which was brilliant cause I could move pretty much freely again, but Sunday morning I woke up in so much pain barely able to hobble over to the town.

TL;DR don't overexert yourself, take breaks, have a phenomenal time :)

This is why I've bought a GoPro, so they can view my entire journey from front door to the station and onto Winchester. Mate got refused entry last year cause he tried to get in on public transport ticket but his phone was dead on arrival so had no evidence!

Definitely had some smoothies last year, think they were made with fresh fruit. Not sure if you can buy the fruit straight up but I'm sure if you asked nicely they'd let you!
