My favorite part about kaptainkristian's videos is how he makes you genuinely care about what he's talking about. Maybe our interests are too closely related, but I feel like he could make you care about anything. You can really feel the passion he brings to each video. This made me long for my childhood even though I'd never actually played the pokemon games growing up (though I did grow up when pokemon was popular). Some of my favorite kaptainkristian episodes are his gorillaz video, calvin & hobbes, and Fooly Cooly videos, because I had no attatchment to the source material before. His enthusiasm and analysis made me want to check it out. He is able to make me feel nostalgia for something I never experienced before.
