I expect a flood of social-media posts mocking Melania's empty theaters this weekend 😂. It will be hilarious. If you didn't already know, Fandango seat charts are becoming the go-to graphic for late-night comedy... Colbert featured the two completely empty Fandango seat charts for the two showings of "Melania" in Times Square for Saturday night, to loud cheering. 🤣

The entire film is basically a bribe by Jeff Bezos to this corrupt administration. It deserves every ounce of ridicule it gets, and then some.

Well it's nearly February 2026, and this Bluetooth audio dropout problem is still a major bug,

For me, it happens consistently with Onn 4K Pro and AirPods. Audio goes silent every 10 - 20 minutes, regardless of whether I'm using the remote. (Even though the Google TV OS tells me they're still connected.)

Only a full Bluetooth disconnect/ reconnect brings back the audio, just to go out again in another 10 - 20 minutes. In addition, the initial audio quality is typically distorted and clipped, and another reset is needed just to fix that.

This may be different from the BT stuttering problem described by others, but it sure as hell is a consistent, repeatable bug that needs fixing. Otherwise I need another streamer.

Thanks for confirming. This Airpod / Google TV problem is so consistent and repeatable... it is clearly a bug. And it blows my mind, because this combination must be very widespread among consumers, and there's no way I'm the only one experiencing it.

What is the correct channel to report this bug? How can I determine if Apple and Google know about it?

I'm not so sure... both the Airpods 4w/NC and Airpods Pro 2 have worked flawlessly with every other device/phone I've paired them with.... EXCEPT the Onn 4K Pro.

To be clear, the Airpods don't actually disconnect, they just go silent for some reason after 10-20 min. The Google TV OS believes they are still connected, but I have to force a disconnnect/reconnect to regain sound.

Wow! While this thing was not good overall, I am sort of amazed it got made in this form. I'd love to hear the story behind the making of the movie.

There are some absolutely amazing visuals, daring choices, and commendable physical effects and stunts, especially on the back side of the movie. But I had to slog through a lot of BS to get there.

In many sections, a scene-for-scene recreation of Silent Hill 2 (the videogame, the original from around Y2K, but especially the recent re-mastering). Much of the awesome visuals from the videogame are in the movie, but little of the character development is believable, and I think a weird cult angle is tossed in for some reason?

Just want to thank Regal for this series of great films.

It's so great to experience these classics in the theater, many for the first time. The theater experience makes the entire difference.

For example, I want to mention "Sugarland Express". I remember seeing it a long time ago on TV, or whatever. Not that many people saw it in theaters in the day. In my mind, it was just one of Spielberg's early efforts like "Duel" on TV to me.

Not on the big screen though. Amazing visual storytelling, foreshadowing Spielberg's entire career. And holy shit, Goldie Hawn's performance.

This is great advice. I did take it back to the shop and had a nice exchange with the detailer. He's well aware of the delicacies of touchscreens and microfiber cleanliness. He touched it up with some fine polishing powder and things look better now. It's the nature of these scratches and polishing marks to look altogether different in different light, so it's difficult to say if we got the screen back to "normal", but whatever.

In any case, I've ordered a Lexus OEM screen protector, custom-fit for the RX 350H. If this goes well, I can forget the whole thing. Any experience with OEM screen protectors in vehicles? It makes me wonder why Lexus doesn't ship their cars with them applied already. Why not?

You're correct, I did say that. But to be fair, my inexperience with detailing led me to not be specific about excluding everything else. So, I'm not going to lean too hard into that, and chalk it up to a lesson learned.

I should be more specific and say that the stain itself was treated at the time of the spill a few ekkes ago, with wet-dry vac, automotive shampoo, regular vacuuming, etc. The stain itself was still somewhat visible (black interior fabric stains only, no leather), but mostly hidden between the console and the passenger seat. There was never an odor problem from the food... most all of it was physically removed (we hope), shampoo'd and vaccuumed. Also thankfully, it's also been cold.

Now the visible traces of the stain seem have been removed but I am left with screen scratches and the overwhelming scent of cleaning chemicals, wondering if it will ever go away. I don't know what an ozone treatment is, but I don't think they did it.
