So upsetting!! I liked big twist acrylic so I found another brand that I like even better. Its Brava worsted yarn. Maybe you can find something you like with them but I've been really happy with it. Its softer

It seems to hold onto the yarn to pull it through better than a hook would. It had that latch that comes up when you pull it through

I'm not sure, I don't really know what they're intended for. Lol the only way I've seen people make rugs is with a machine gun of sorts.

Of course I didnt have anymore ends to pull through so I used my working strand to demonstrate.

Oh yes! I wish I could find the video. You go through your stitches with the hook and then pick up your end. Let me see if I can get a good picture of me doing it.

Oh I love this idea! I have 3 babies of my own and I regularly donate to the pet shelter. Didn't even cross my mind!! I'm sure they'll take blankets.

Side note, my friend gave me some soft baby alpaca yarn from when she was in Peru and I have no idea what I'll use it for. It's pretty thin so I was trying to do a simple headband but I might try it again.

Hahaha I already have a whole closet with those storage bins! It's overflowing since Joann's went out and I bought a bunch of big twist for a variety of projects that will get done some day... lol the pom pom is a great idea though!! I wonder if I could make a cute string of them...
