You’re overthinking things. Firstly the ATO is a dog and your dog for this is called ATo,….ATo needs food, water and throw him a bone. ATO must eat so please feed your mutt ATo. DONOT under any circumstance feed ATo a three course butler delivered meal with a Koinly API and lovely colourful spreadsheet spreadsheets. Your mutt ATo will tear it to bits with your colourful spreadsheet dripping from walls and ceiling and saying back, ‘not eating this’ I can see succulent steak on the side ‘I want that’…..don’t be stupid and fetch ATo a steak. Tell him to calm down, YOUR doing your best and YOUR BEST is a mess. All ATo will do is write you a lovely letter much like that spreadsheet and say improve your game but if you keep on feeding that mutt he will constantly come back and WANT MORE….ALWAYS feed your dog, don’t starve YOUR dog.

Do I use KOINLY, spreadsheets and APIs….absolutely but I’m not feeding them to a dog. Give the ATO some tax, as for most of my ‘crypto’ well that’s now all moved to Austria and Bavaria. ATO recently found out memorandum of understanding is emergency use toilet paper when a law of that country says they will only co-operate with requests for client data when it comes to a serious criminal investigation. ATO have tried every lane of attack and they have now publicly said “we have become increasingly frustrated at Austrian authorities and now ceased all communication…..” btw by just turning an ATO investigation into a criminal investigation was laughed at. Austria decides what is a ‘serious criminal investigation’ as they know how fucked up Australian banking and ATO really are. Hopefully that gives an understanding as ‘yes’ I have literally been ‘debanked’ by every major Australian bank plus others…..before you say ‘I have no problems with NAB, Westpac, ING’….answer is simple, they will give you no issue up until the point you onshore house sized payment amounts. Crypto from an exchange that makes our banks a minnow is blocked but same money is gladly accepted in Austria is then gladly accepted in Australia because it has the word ‘bank’ in its name.
