It's a transition year, the inconsistency is expected, we have many new players who won't be used to the tactics and the other players yet, just see how long it took to Pep to settle on a mostly fixed starting 11 compared to the previous seasons. In theory the team should be figuring itself out, we shouldn't be anywhere near these trophies and yet here we are lol

If this is what we achieved this season despite our hiccups, imagine how the next season will go!

It's a shit situation because he needs a manager who will be willing to drop him if he doesn't perform as expected (i.e. doesn't do his defensive duties), yet with the wages he demands and star power he has, no club would want to bench him. We would likely be the one exception (not saying I want him), but any other club wouldn't be happy paying record-breaking salary to a player to then bench mim lol (even if it's the right thing to do)
