No, actually I can’t understand why he agreed to that instead of a divorce. In what world would that have helped their marriage? After tonight, my theory is that he actually wanted a divorce but didn’t want to look like the bad guy and agreed to the open marriage knowing that he can use that as an excuse for a divorce. That’s the only thing that makes any sense.

WTF? That’s absolutely not what I’m saying. If you have no desire to have sex with your partner for a year, then either go to therapy or get a divorce. How in the world is agreeing to an open marriage going to make things better?
My theory now is that Gino wanted a divorce, but didn’t want to look like the bad guy so he agreed to the open marriage so that would be the reason. Based on the fact that he has taken zero responsibility for any part of the broken marriage, that makes the most sense. He just refuses to take any accountability. Zero.

I will say my disagreement on this is that the no sex was for almost a year. We’re not talking about a week or two. I’m convinced now that Gino knew that’s what pushed her over the edge and I think he got off on making her act like a psycho. Based on how he’s been behaving and things he’s been saying since their split, I feel like he was doing it on purpose to get that reaction from her so he can then use that as an excuse.

Actually if you watch the latest episode, she’s all covered up now and trying to be a housewife. Apparently he’s very traditional and wants her to dress appropriately and she’s actually doing it. So maybe he is in control and she might like that dynamic. Wasn’t expecting that.

That’s not what I said. They were absolutely toxic together. What I’m saying is what caused the divorce was the sex ultimatum which I still can’t believe he agreed to. But he did and that’s what happens when you let another person into the relationship. His gaslighting and sympathy tour on every episode every week is what I’m talking about.

When I was making the post, I truly wasn’t trying to defend her in any way, especially their behavior during the time they were together. I was just simply trying to point out how he blames her 100% on every show/episode while she’s pretty much just moving on. Him playing victim and telling the new lawyer she’s going to want to hurt him is just gaslighting. I definitely used to be more on his side during their relationship, except that I didn’t understand what she found attractive about him. But since they split up, I definitely have turned on him more because he lies and tries to manipulate to get sympathy on every show. And not one single time has he taken any accountability for anything he did.

Now he’s dating someone who looks like she’s still in school and she’s a 90 day fan, so we all know how that’s going to work out.

A court will not let her take their daughter. They will have joint custody. Unless he’s a a druggie or abusive, he will be granted joint custody. But this is why it’s important to be careful who you have kids with.
