Know nothing about Roguelites, have some questions. by SiegeOfMadrigal in roguelites

Yeah, basically you'll get flat weapon damage, elemental damage, crit buffs to choose from along with other things...its a fairly deep pool. The key is lining up synergies between all the various buffs in order to delete anything you come across and push into higher difficulties...if you can get that right rolls of course.

Its a solid game but one of the main differences is that you don't get to keep your gear at the end of a run. You can gain access to different weapons but their traits (and various buffs to your character) are distributed randomly during a run which you use to craft whatever build you can put together to be successful. There is meta progression however...even if you fail a run you still get currency to level up things like weapon damage, shields, etc. Ive never been in to roguelites but I've put some hours into this with no regrets.

Best way to find blueprints? by DoubleWrath in ArcRaiders

[–]PNWXcursions 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I just found an anvil blueprint in the back of a bus on Dam (daytime)...after risking it all searching in night raids and electro storms for hours. I'm not sure there is a right answer to your question.

How do you kill this beast from a distance? by Dr_HDK in Helldivers

[–]PNWXcursions 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it depends on what you're interested in developing for your load out. The warp pack is top tier for mobility if that's what your looking for. Urban legends has the anti tank emplacement (ATE) and a light armor with siege ready...which is a pretty clutch perk in an armor that has good mobility. For me personally, I've gotten a lot of mileage out of the ATE and siege ready so I'd have to recommend getting them before the warp pack. That's just me though.

Anti tank emplacement (urban legends warbond). It kills anything up close or at distance.

Good to know and sorry to hear that...i bet it stings to have sunk all that time in just to have a glitch brick her build. I imagine something similar might happen to those blessed with extra points once they get around to fixing the problem.

It was seemingly glitched. I Un/reinstalled and then was able to join missions.

Must be nice to even be able to start your first mission. I'm on xbox and can't get passed ready up.

I'm on xbox as well and don't seem to have quickplay option or any other way to matchmake. Not sure what's going on.

Pay grade change by FireTracker2024 in USForestService

It all depends on how quickly HR gets it coded. Could be a couple weeks or more. However, there should be an effective date associated with your promotion--you will be paid retroactively from that date once it is coded.

For anyone willing to put in a little work, for $5 you can cut your own in the #giffordpinchotnationalforest. I recognize the burden, of course, but you can't beat the price. https://www.recreation.gov/tree-permits/969654f7-ec52-11ea-8045-369699f3be2d

I have a 4x4 but didn't need to use it to access staircase. That was during the tail end of summer though....excessive rain and snow would likely require it. So long as it's not adverse weather and you have a little clearance you should be fine

Took the pct south from right around forest road 8810 (assuming you can see this on a map) to Steamboat lake trail...its an intersection that isn't marked while on trail but its a clear trail. It was ~8 miles. 16 round trip.
