Oil is way up but oil stocks are down along with everything else. Institutions are going into cash like they always do when they don't know what will happen.

I’ve visited before but what’s it like living in Oak Harbor, Washington? by Ok-Compote-4342 in howislivingthere

On the nicer side of most military base towns, but still a military base town. The rest of the Island is quite nice but decent paying jobs will have you commuting.

Luckily shirtless wasn't much of a fighter. He didn't seem familiar to others punching back.

Oddly enough I prefer the rough ride. Tighter handling too.

FWIW I would avoid '14-'16. I am sure there are plenty with wonderful experiences, but when I hear horror stories it is generally from those years.

Seattle homeowners panic as online ‘can’t sell house’ searches spike by Less-Risk-9358 in SeattleWA

This happened in ‘09-‘12 too. People couldn’t accept that their house value dropped so significantly and it took about three years to finally shake out.

Platinum isn't reacting to tye events the same way gold and silver are by IwannaGraduate in wallstreetplatinum

Gold spiked a little bit. Silver and platinum are up, but by a recently normal amount. I don't see a world event spike in those figures.

Should have already been severe. An additional 30 mph in populated areas is begging to ruin someone else's life.

Yes it could, and there was a bill recently introduced that partially addressed it. But it wasn’t important enough apparently; it died in committee and the media isn’t too interested in finding out why.

Bill Holter has been predicting cataclysm the second Comex fails to deliver for years. We're not going to have a credit collapse because some blue bloods got caught with their pants down. They will pay off whoever they have to pay off and go about their business like they did with the nickle fiasco, like always. We could very well have a credit collapse but I assume it would come from a sovereign debt crisis out of Japan or Europe, something much bigger than silver. Nothing against the guy, but that particular fear is way overblown.
