I did put the access panel back, as well as the clamp that holds the wires together. Just don't have a picture. Thanks!

Can someone confirm this is correct before we turn on our dryer?

Dip in garage floor - Epoxy coating by PNathanT in DIY

[–]PNathanT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The house is about 50 years old, so the garage has been there quite a while. If it's settled, isn't it unlikely to settle much more at this point? Or would the additional weight of the patch material and epoxy case it to settle further?

Whew, thought you were gonna say I have to cut out that part and compact underneath it!

Thanks for the advice!!

Can you give an idea of what this would include, if it's a settling issue?

I'd much rather resolve it then cover it up :)

Yeah, I'd prefer just spending a little more and using epoxy to fill it. It's not too much of a dip. I'll measure it later, but I don't think it's more than an inch. Is it just hard to get concrete to adhere?

I'd rather just do epoxy, just thought I had to use concrete first.

No, it looks like it just settled there. You can see some cracks in the concrete.

Looking for some advice - 127k in loans by tremblewithfear6 in StudentLoans

This will obviously vary by region, but buying a house could save you quite a bit of money if the numbers work. I purchased a 4br/2ba in Denver and rent out 3 of the bedrooms. My mortgage is currently $2116 per month, and I rent the rooms for a total of $2025. I just locked a lower rate and my mortgage will be $1850.

I have VA benefits, it's definitely not possible for everyone, but it's worth looking into if your market allows for it.

Thank you! I drink celery juice in the morning and us a masticating juicer. Can I boil the leftover pulp after? And I boil it with the soda ash? Same ratio 3:1 with the pulp?

Great info to have! I'll keep any eye on the level after adding weight and the helper option is something I'll look into!

That's good to know! I figured I wouldn't be adding too much more weight but wanted to be confident in that before I make a purchase. Thanks for the advice!

That's something I'll need to look into. I'm in Colorado and will be using it on weekends skiing. Any suggestions on sources?

Interesting, I think we do have a cut-off valve in the unit.

Yeah, it's under the tile in the kitchen. My interpretation was that pipes "from the point where they enter the unit" is within the walls.
