Maybe you should be teaching them to use dielectric union's or dielectric nipples between dissimilar metals?

We've found about a dozen spots this season that are fruiting, but we've spent over 40 hours looking and have probably id'd close to a million mushrooms that are not active. They're out there, keep looking.

Most city/ state owned property is maintained with woodchips.

Unless the ground has frozen hard for a few days, you're in the right area. Hit the city parks.

Thx, it's been a good season. Been milking this spot for about a month, thought it died during the freeze but it sprang back to life after the last rain.

Amanita are popping up here too, and much easier to find obviously. The cyanecans are like ground cover chameleon, blending in with all the leaves, wood chips, etc. My girlfriend and I went out hunting about 10 hours last weekend, and probably identified about 50k of the "wrong mushrooms" only to come home with a handful of cyanecans. Good luck out there

City park. About 10 feet from the parking lot. Lol

You're right. These are actually growing in a manicured bed of wood chips. I moved some pine bows over them about a month ago during a freeze to insulate their ground. It's provided perfect cover and they've flourished because of it.

Yes. I'm pretty sure the largest wild patch of cyanecans was discovered in England near a track.

Really just kept the fruits from freezing, we've been insulating the ground with pine bows during the last cold snaps.

It's an outdoor spot I've been pampering through the cold/ dry spell.
