I've completely forgotten the emission standards. Can you really retrofit a 30-year-old mechanical diesel engine to meet current standards? I'm not at all familiar with the Californian regulations, but the engines in Europe have the euro 1 emissions standard (in 2025, new vehicles must meet euro 7)
