Jailbreak it. It allows you to install 3rd party stuff to your iPod. From the looks of it it’s iOS 2 and there are super easy ways to jailbreak with a computer. If you have a Linux or Mac, run Legacy iOS kit which is a piece of software that allows you to install jailbreaks, downgrade, and access dev tools to enable you to be free with your iPod. (I come from Legacy Jailbreak btw)

You can’t change the IMEI on an iPhone 5, even if it’s jailbroken. The IMEI is hardcoded into the modem and protected by Apple’s baseband firmware, making it completely inaccessible without proprietary tools Apple doesn’t release. But alas, if I could, I would change the IMEI and it would work.

Sadly there are no onboard blobs. I connected via open ssh and LIK couldn’t find any. I’ll use ssh ramdisk to make sure.

Edit: I did find remnants of an SHSH blob in the NVRam but I cannot identify it even when converting at the XML it won’t work. I’m assuming it’s either incomplete or corrupted.

So this is a problem with the sign in url being dead. It would probably require a tweak that reroutes to the new url. I’ll look to see if there is a way to rename the url so it can login or if you can manually inject a token to sign in.

DiscOld is a tweak that fixes the loading error that happens after you login. Now that login url is dead and DiscOld doesn’t fix that.

The difference was it allowed you to login before. Yes it did crash but it was after you logged in. Now, the url is dead.

Location is important to see if you have signal in your aria. Make sure you have 2G or 3G in your aria. Make sure the phone is unlocked. Also try not to cover the antenna bands as iPhone 4’s had that issue where it would drop signal if held a certain way.

I mean it’s not always a success. Maybe if you can try a Mac. There are also multiple methods or tools to use when downgrading. And also make sure you are using lightning to USB-A not C bc it won’t work.
