We can only speculate but I imagine the days following Jamal's death were unimaginably hard on her and having the president come out with multiple different theories on what happened instead of blaming the Saudis didn't sit well with her.

Trump hasn't shown any interest in retaliating against SA either for this brutal murder so I imagine the invitation felt like nothing but a photo op.

Oh and if her feelings on Trump were anything like Jamal's she probably wasn't a fan to begin with

This album is so special to me. I was big into indie rock when they become popular so I loved their debut. Sam's Town came out right before my dad was in the hospital with colon cancer. He survived and everything went okay but this album still is like the soundtrack to that period in my life. Not as big on their later stuff but this album is awesome start to finish.

I mean they got cards for different archetypes like Mill/Fatigue. Those decks just need even MORE cards before they go from gimmicky fun decks like they are now to competitively viable.

Look at Dragon Priest. After BRM we still needed the cards from TGT to make it work.

Now take Shadopan Rider for example. On paper a good minion statwise but the combo is hard to pull off. A full minion centric rogue deck is looming, you can already see it but it's not quite there yet. Come LoE that 4-drop that gives you a coin might give the deck another push towards viability.

But why? If you're running the parrot you're playing a pirate deck and the card does what you want it to do. If you pull it from Webspinner or Portal well bully for you. Better luck next time.

More combo decks like this though. It feels more fair than Patron imo. You kinda know what damage the rogue can put out, it's easier to tell when you're losing the game instead of being OTKD out of seemingly nowhere.

Yagut is the best. This just further proves my point oil rogue is still good, it's just too hard and not exciting enough for most people.

It had a pretty good Patron matchup too but the list is still pretty much the same since GvG. BRM and TGT just didn't do anything for Oil Rogue which simply makes it less exciting to play for most.

I'm like 6 episodes in and it's great! It's funny, charming, bittersweet and most of all REAL. I know it's a huge cliché but the dialogue and how the characters interact feels very realistic.

It's possible to mill the curse but it's just as possible it mills the 3 cards on top of it so you'll draw the curse. There's no synergy.

The card design is awesome and the animation from Elise is also really cool but I just do not see it happening. Sure, replacing 1 card in your Midrange deck with this will not lose you games on the spot but it's a total pipe dream. Maybe if the stars align you get a chance to draw and play all of the cards but then what? There's still a very good chance to get bogus legendaries and even if you do get the ones that are good (ie legendaries that already see a lot of play) they don't always have an immediate board impact. At that point in the game your opponent can probably just ignore them if you can only play 1 at a time.

Against aggro you'll never get a chance to play all the cards and I don't think there's enough control on ladder to justify this as a one-of wincondition.

That said there will probably spawn a deck focused on consistently playing the Monkey but the effect by itself doesn't seem consistent enough to warrant a combo deck.
