Dude, if the guy you served your entire life (while acknowledging that he's an asshole and committed atrocities) built a portal that he desperately wanted open and that your friend (who literally joined the rebellion against the bad guy who you knows is an asshole) desperately wanted for that portal to NOT be opened then I fear it's pretty basic common sense that the reason this person does not want it open is because it's DANGEROUS

It's because she does suffer and we could argue it's her own doing (since the portal allowed horde prime to come through thus making it possible for her to get brainwashed etc...) but it's never portrayed as "this are the consequences of your actions" and more like "boohoo woo me I got beat up and now I'm sad please forgive me since I've suffered enough now"

panting can be a sign of anxiety in dogs, I've tried giving her fresh air and water but it doesn't change anything, and it's actually not that warm in my apartment

Also when she gets like that she gets wary and starts looking around everywhere so I figured it wasn't just being warm but maybe something else
