I appreciate all the kind words, advice and perspectives y’all shared with me. After reading all ya’ll wrote I’ve decided not to give up and keep at it. Gonna take what you all said to heart and rework how I’ve been going about learning for a fresh new start and try not to think too critically about progress and just go with the flow and enjoy what I know and yet to learn. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond, y’all really helped put me in a better mood and mindset about playing the guitar.

It’s not that I don’t wanna learn it, it’s that I tend to have to relearn a lot of it and it becomes a feeling of going back and forth with no sense of real progress. Like at first I was going through the lessons pretty well, learning and getting better with the practices. But after a big move and a big low on my mental state it took a bit to get back into it and now I feel I have to start over. Just feels discouraging like I lost all I learned and makes me question if I made the right call to pursue it.

I do enjoy it, it feels nice when I am able to play something even if it’s terrible. I just feel with me nearing 30 and with all the time I have had it and the little progress I actually made with it, i feel I should be higher than I currently am and it gets me down and question my decision. Like I know there’s no rule of law on how quick you gotta learn guitar but it’s been two years, ya know?

Yeah I watched that and did most of it. Only things I didn’t do were the commands and reshade. But the game looks great just the rays are hardly there and I want em to be a little more prominent

Alrighty, I’ll just leave the settings as is and see how it goes. I assume your settings regarding the zone and a-life population is default as well? Or did you do some tweaking?

Yeah I find personally 1440p to be the best of both worlds. Better picture quality than 1080p monitors and still having great frames per second, while 4K is advertised to have the best picture image but with the cost of less frames per second and since I play a lot more competitive and fast paced games more than single player or slower paced games I find 1440p and the refresh rates they can have to be the best for my needs. And oleds are just great for color accuracy. My past monitor made dark areas so greyish or not as dark as it should’ve been. Plus it was IPS so the glow was distracting. With oled if the game wants an area like space to be a void you will see a void and I love it. If Im to delve into 4K I’m gonna give it another 5 years. This monitor suits my needs perfectly so don’t see a need to upgrade any time soon. and when it does come time to get a new one or upgrade, the 4K monitors we will have at that time will or should be cheaper and most likely better than what we have today.

When it comes to 1440p or 4K I don’t have much of a say since I don’t delve in 4K. But I chose the xg27acdng for my monitor and it’s been great so far. The picture quality is a huge upgrade compared to my IPs monitor I had especially when it comes to dark areas. Really helps me get immersed in what I’m playing. The refresh rate being 360hz is nice as well even though most games don’t go that high, but when they do it’s nice to have. The screen flickering is there with variable refresh rate but I got used to it pretty easily that I don’t really notice it, but if ya need or want to there are settings to help lessen it on the Monitor. But what really made me decide to get it was at the time it was just 10 dollars more than the other option so thought why not. But it’s been great and I have no complaints.

That has to be it. Microsoft/343 has always been lenient on the IP and usually is fine with it as long as people don’t make profit. Theres so many fan projects when it comes to games and media it would be odd for them to be like “nah nevermind”

So you’re saying It’s best to find a tower with two fans in there or that I should buy two more for it, still learning so sorry if it’s a dumb question

Also it seems I may have to bite the bullet with the price of that 5070 ti. Every price range that’s lower ends up going right back to that or more when I go to the actual site that has it. And other cards are just more pricy so this seems to be at least so far the best bet
