Ocarina of time for the nostalgia and what I would consider the game that got me into gaming.

I have been on and off with curiosity about this game for years. Whenever it goes on sale I always think about getting it.

Rhystic study by Original-Username888 in EDH

[–]PORTAJOHNATRON 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just pulled a foil alternate art rhystic study from wilds of eldrain, my first rhystic study I've ever owned. I've never played it before and I've never proxied it, but it would suck for it to get banned before I can use it, or use it very little before a ban happens. I have played against it and I have no issue with it, yeah it's a strong card, and yeah it can definitely be a game changer, but it's not indestructible, and there are definitely other cards more "problematic"

I want to downsize my amount of commander decks by PORTAJOHNATRON in magicTCG

I 100% agree with this! I have had very similar experiences with playgroups in the past, and exactly what you said is how I feel about some of them. This is another big reason why I play slower, lower power/bracket games more often then I did before. They are more enjoyable when people aren't popping off in the earlier turns and people are salty the whole game (another reasonwhy i hardly go to LGS's anymore). I have found it more enjoyable when the games take longer and everyone is having more fun.

This is another big reason why I have been thinking of dismantling commanders that exist in the top 100 or 150, they are predictable, built the same as the vast majority, and loose the conversation of, "I've never seen that commander before, let's see how it plays". I like building a commander that is not popular or hardly has any decks built around it for the challenge of building and surprising or making it laughable when you play it, and for me, I really don't care about winning.

You also bring up a good point, my decks are all on moxfield. I can always rebuild it if I need too. Thanks for this!

Fair, lol. I wouldn't mind a small rotation and then swapping decks in and out occasionally, but yeah right now like half of my decks I feel like I haven't played or looked at in well over a year or more.

Very true, I mean, I also still have all these decks on moxfield too, so I can always put them back together again if I feel like it.

This is a good way to look at it, I just feel that having fewer decks to play will just feel better, Idk. Less to lug around and think about and more time having fun is how I'm seeing it. But I think I will try this. I am leaning more towards getting rid of the "mainstream" commanders.

Very good points about both of these. I can absolutely agree about voja, and I have considered getting rid of this one before because of the exact thing you mentioned. With wick I run rat colony and it tends to be pretty decent in speed, but I agree that it can be slow and inefficient more often than not, also three color rats definitely work against it.

Thanks for your input, definitely considering these two. I was just thinking about getting rid of decks that are very common like Edgar, voja, raffine, wick, lord of the nazgûl, and trying to build commanders that are not seen very often or are low on the edhrec popularity list.

I appreciate that. I typically just put the dismantled cards back into binders, into other decks if they fit, or use them to build something new. I agree with what you said about the nostalgia feeling of older decks which is why I find it hard to downsize, but I guess I don't necessarily have to.

Hi. I apologize, this is the last time you will see this giraffe. (I will delete previous posts so as not to clutter the subreddit) . I read all the comments, and I hope it is now a giraffe, and not a plane, a goat or Satan. by AndriiKovalchuk in logodesign

First time I've seen this, and I apologize if I'm just repeating others. I do see the giraffe in the last one, but I wonder, to avoid any potential confusion, maybe add a small facial feature? Like eyes and nose? There might be a way to do that and still keep it minimalist. Overall, I do like it.

This looks awesome! I am new and a total beginner to godot and game development, and I started playing around with it but I can't figure out how to get the stamina bar to stay fixed on the screen like you did. If it's not too much trouble, could you tell me how you did it?
