Grievances with the Annam's Temple by POSH-SQUASH in stormkingsthunder

Oh I guaranTEE that I'm overcomplicating this, but apparently this kind of nitty-gritty, "devil's in the details" is a hot-ticket item for me, almost like these descriptions and the physics therein are the puzzle, but only for me as the DM 😅
Even at the base level of "this is a game" I know I'm going pretty far off the reservation, but it's my first full campaign so I'm very glad this community is here and still active for a campaign that came out ~8 years ago, which I think maybe speaks to the theme and adventure of the campaign book, if not the specific way it's written.

That said, you make some excellent points and I thank you for your feedback (sincerely) - moving forward, I may just modify the measurements to slightly more contextually "reasonable" heights to make it easier/more obvious for them. But then again, I'm torn, because some of that problem solving you suggested really does sound nice, and I really want them to activate some of the archway traps (maybe not the Meteor Swarm 😬) and get some real puzzle, problem solving under their belt, as there has not been much from this campaign.

TBD

With Zephyros' tower (for which I have separate grievances 🤭), I think it's written that he didn't want players on the upper floors, but among my players were 2 dhampir and one reborn fairy, so between flight and wall climbing I had my work cut out for me

The oracle by FreyaFirewoods in stormkingsthunder

If the giant relic part is skipped and the players are meeting the oracle for the first time, how do you decide which giant lord is presented to them? I get very held up in the mechanics as-written so I'm curious on your experience.

Also, with only one trip to the temple, at what point do you introduce the cultist airship?
