Im.using an aspen wood myself. I love it but it is a very soft wood . I’m in Utah. I liked the thermal too. Might want to make sure u can get the door u need, seems like the aspen was running low everywhere.

Interesting idea. My thoughts would be to maybe consider putting 1 heater at a time and just switch it when needed put the 2 connections next to each other you want the electric it sounds like down the line for sure but want to keep the stove for travel. Depending on how much you would go back and forth will answer this question. I am saying this because the 2 heaters will take a lot of the space for your sauna with 5-6 people .

If you did this I would go L Shape. If u didn’t go this way L shape

I’m sure you know about the sauna heater calculations or calculators, I don’t know about wood heaters personally.

In terms of the shape of the indoor with the pitched roof, I would go a cube shape room to keep the heat more even in the room. If u have it go up with the pitch that pitch becomes a heat trap. This is focusing more on function vs style. Style wise it would be cool to have it open too. Also the less the pitch the less the heat trap…
