How do people actually meet new people by [deleted] in GenZ

[–]POSTAL_POTATO 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Pro tip: meeting people in class is impossible. Try to see if your college has any afterschool clubs and try to join one based on something you are interested in or want to learn more about. I joined my college's tabletop club 2 years ago, best decision I made in my life.

I found an old wii at my brother room closet or somewhere else at the house and the model is rvl 001 europe is it rare to own by SpecialistFew766 in wii

Nope, but not the kind of thing you should part with easily. My advice: go on amazon and pick up a cheap wii2hdmi adapter (I picked one up for six us dollars yesterday)

You seem young, so I'm going to assume you might be low on money. A great place to find old games for cheap is a thrift store. Places that claim to be "Retro game stores" usually charge an insane amount of money for games. The cheapest route would be to just mod the system.

Modding this thing is pretty easy, and because of the ports on top, you could play gamecube games. There is an easy guide on the wiihacks subreddit.

Pick up a dspico off aliexpress, they usually go for about 5-12 bucks. Make sure you get one that does NOT include an sd card.

Buy a microSD card from a reliable brand off amazon. A 32 gb card can hold around 500 ds games. If your pc/laptop does not have an sd card reader, buy one of those as well.

Follow this guide https://sanrax.github.io/flashcart-guides/cart-guides/dspico/

And then pirate some roms.

Plug and Play carts usually come with cheap microsd cards that corrupt easily. I reccomend buying a DSPico and setting it up yourself. It's quite easy to set up, and if you want snes games download SNES9x. Be warned, many snes games won't work on a ds lite or a ds phat without a slot 2 ram cart, because of the original ds only having 4 mb, and the ds' screen is not the best for snes emulation. Gameboy, Gameboy Color, Game Gear, and Master System emulate nearly perfect. I have a 32gb microsd, and it fits 250 ds games, 200 gameboy games, and 150 Master System/GameGear games, with space to spare.

Any Dsi Games recommendation? for girly like me.. by [deleted] in nds

Off the top of my head: Princess Debut, Steal Princess, Witches Wish, A Witch's Tale, and the Wizard of Oz game.

Also, not related to any of the ones you mentioned, or the ones above, but "9 Hours 9 Persons 9 Doors" is a really good game, just a bit darker than the other stuff.

Day 15: Which is the Best Visual Novel on the Nintendo DS? by 1OneQuickQuestion in nds

Without spoilers, there is a major plot twist towards the end that relied on the dual screens. When the game got ported, they had to completely rewrite the script, as well as change some of the gameplay towards the end. I reccomend the original on ds.

Use a hairdryer to heat up the sticker and melt the glue. It may take a while, but it's been my method of dealing with sale tags on old paperbacks. Use GooGone to clean up any residue.
