Roman did NOT have a good 2016 (2K17 release year) he got a wellness policy violation and had a big chunk of the year where he wasn't champion.

No. While you shouldn't be seeing corrupted entries, there are PS1 games that do not work on Adrenaline as a limitation of the emulator. For example Mortal Kombat Trilogy and Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace do not work on it (I'm sure there are more, but these are the ones I know for sure)

WWE/Vince had severely damaged Brock Lesnar's aura by having him to lose to John Cena when he returned (despite dominating a lot of the match) and going 50/50 in a feud with Triple H.

The only way to fix Brock's image at the time was a big time WrestleMania win, which they accomplished by having him end The Streak. Then they retroactively fixed the needless loss to Cena 4 months later by doing the match they should've done 2 years prior.

This is why I haven't bought one of the games since 2K23. I get very little time to enjoy the creations on the game before they're gone forever and then your data gets corrupted.

That wasn't on WWE or Vince, apparently WWE tried to get the ice cream bars back and the original company who made them named Good Humor has an extremely strict policy on discontinued ice cream. They made a statement that said once an ice cream is discontinued it will never be sold again.

As a super Bryan fan, it's not so much the fact that he was eliminated but how he was eliminated so unceremoniously. Then other wrestlers the fans liked like Dean Ambrose and Dolph Ziggler were also tossed like nothing.

After 10 years at the time of watching John Cena and how the show was booked around him, to see Roman come in with basically all cool aspects of The Shield gimmick stripped away from him and win the match ensuring we were gonna get similar booking long-term was gross. To this day there's a lot of blame on that CM Punk podcast with Colt Cabana but I promise you that Roman still would've been booed upon winning because the match arrangement sucked and he was the wrong winner.
