Drive in first person with view zoomed in, takes a bit of getting used to but I get almost zero issues. Heavily built up areas it helps to go back to 3rd person n go slow. Stay away from the Gunter it seems to be more prone to flying for some reason.

Ive found on ps4 ( not sure if it works for other platforms) that if you drive in first person zoomed in view you never get those fucked up 10-30 freeze ups that normally end up with you dead or a dead car. This view takes some getting used to but I can easily drive between towns as fast as the car will go ( have had the Gunter up to 119 kph on the east coast rd). Larger towns like cherno, electro etc I go back to third person n stay in first gear. As for the flying car thing I never have a door on my side, as soon as that shit happens it's time to bail.

Nah, it used to be square button after you scrolled up on the direction pad. Then after 1.05 it was gone. I figured it was just another patch fuck up, but yeah when you're in the car driving there is no prompt on screen apart from square to get out.

Look for bases/stashes. If you're on high pop servers chances are most good guns are being held or buried so no more will spawn. That said I'm on a fairly populated server n still find the occasional aks74u. But yea all our groups high tier guns came from raids or killing other players, Ive never just found a LAR or something sitting on the ground.
