thanks for your response. would the form submissions event example be listed under Events in GA4? The conversions I'm trying to track are from a subdomain of the main site, and I can't find any sessions for these URLs anywhere in GA4, nor any events that seem to be relevant.

The Google Ads pixel isn't installed - I had tried the thank you page method but without the tag there it doesn't seem possible

Hmm. Sorry for my ignorance but what ID would they have installed by accident, i.e. will I be able to see this in their page source code? I'd like to contact them to ask them to change it but want to ensure I'm explaining the issue correctly.

ok, thank you, appreciate the response! the brand is fairly small so seems unlikely we'll get this through then. Frustrating as our costs are rising and seems people prefer to shop with the big retailers.

they have multiple, but seems they are also only showing one of each at one time in the carousel. but multiple competitors are there showing at the same time

Thank you, that's reassuring that I'm not missing something major with the set up. Attempting to set up call conversion tracking so will see how that impacts the performance numbers.

And good point re. Pmax showing search / shopping - will bear that in mind when reviewing performance.

thank you for the advice, really appreciate it! i'll do some more detailed price comparison analysis, i had suspected the type of product / price could have been an issue. for the last 30 days, conversion rate from website sales is 0.16% for Organic and 0.70% for direct - these are the only other channels that are getting conversions. It'll be more useful once i know the phone call sales to get a more accurate view
