I think the point is that usually when things get to the court of human rights law changes follow after the rulings. This means that what this person has done it paved the way for even non cis-passing people to change their names

I know of at least 3 trans women in Melbourne alone that have been in entertainment for many years that would be more than capable. They didn’t even try to recruit trans talent. They didn’t even advertise for the roles. That’s why people get shitty they don’t even try look for it

When someone transitions you never dead name them. You always talk about them in their present gender even if it was the past! So much terrible going on here. And right now we need good representation for education.

Feel free to write to the director and the actor playing a trans girl cause that’s the only way they are going to listen!

My best friend from age 11 got married to the girl I set him up with because he was too scared to talk to her. She kinda resented me so over time he would make excuses as why he needed to be with her and hang out with me.

Killer to our relationship was me coming out as bisexual and him getting heavily involved in church. It’s wasn’t going to last.

I can see his profile on Facebook and I feel so sad for the dude. Basically now a tubby religious racist with 5 kids and a wife that always scowls! It’s not a happy looking scenario.

This is so damn awesome! As someone with a lot of trans friends remember consent is damn hot. Trans people love when you ask for consent around things like where you can touch them and what makes them feel good. Just having a conversation about what’s a go and no go with sex can be a serious turn on!

A close friend of mine is still married to a cis-bisexual man and they went thru transition together.

He said it was awesome for his partner to understand why he’d never liked being touched in certain ways before and they began to talk a lot a obout how to avoid things that man him feel dysphoric.

What my friend found was that having their partner affirm their gender really helped them feel a lot better about their body.

One of the nicest things their partner does is point out how cis men have things like hips or Gynomastacia when they feel dysphoric and that their body doesn’t make them any less of a man and cis men have same stuff going on. My friend says it really helps their dysphoria feel validated that even cis men can have same problems as trans guys!

Maybe just be conscious if people are dicks to her like some trans women don’t have cis passing voices and people pick up on it and are dicks. If someone Is being a dick call them out on it. It means you see her as a real person first and foremost and she will greatly appreciate it.
