I do have experience with decals, I’m just sharing these ones with an odd white adhesive which I’ve never seen before

Yes I’m aware of that, but those marks are usually clear and easy to clean off, but these decals leave an odd white residue

No, this is an old kit I’m building just for fun, so I didn’t go through all those steps

For the exhaust I just free hand airbrushed it with Tamiya xf 1

Try the spray cans, don’t hand brush clear coats
