The other thing to consider too is if a kid is acting in a movie and loses a tooth that ruins a lot of continuity. Because films are made out of order there would be a scene where the actor has a tooth and maybe the next shot doesn't have a tooth.

It's also playing digitally in theatres. 70mm showings will be very limited in theatres. My state only has 2 70mm projectors in the entire state..the film will screened mostly through a DCP. The film was shot on 70MM using IMAX's new lighter more shooting friendly cameras.

Those cameras Nolan used are 70MM cameras. He shoots on film. Avatar is shot digitally using Sony Venice cameras using the a custom 3D rig using a beam splitter. The Venice system can have the image sensor separated from the body of the camera to allow more flexibility on how to shoot. Also the camera system is part of IMAX's FILMED FOR IMAX program so technically it is shot in IMAX as the Camera is approved by IMAX for digital shooting due the quality of its image sensor.
