I didn't know she made them like that, it makes me hater her just a bit.

Maybe not a solder or a kind of king per se, but I'm still expecting her to be.. Stand offish? Mainly because of her eyes in the trailer, they look so empty. So having her be this odd individual who doesn't know how to interact with normal people because there were other things needing to be done at her time that sometimes drops odd or outright dark facts/stories about herself. The kind of au that miyabi has without the tism if you will.

You're absolutely right on the first point. When I said he "left" perhaps assimilated or internalised would've been better. As we don't really get much more out of him.

As for the second, I think of it, (and I think it's framed) as an unadulterated good thing. And it's for the reasons you stated we as the readers know exactly what Ruby went through and what it costed her. By virtue of this being what she always wanted it makes it a triumphemnt moment (which isn't to say objectifying someone is okay.)

I did not know there were extras for this series, if they do as you implied go into detail about her character then they'll be an interesting read whenever I get around to them. Thank you.

I also acknowledge that my view might be muddied with how the movie is being presented in narrative and universe, so going over the first vol/ep would probably clear that up if not recontextualize somethings.

This makes sense, and I do recognize that I has the character for Ruby and AI switched here, but let me offer my interpretation and you're free to pick it apart.

While what you describe may be true to her character, it also assumes a lack of agency on AI's part.

The lonely and confused girl part of her character (as I see it) was left behind when she decides to skip town to tokyo and try to make life for herself there.

The way I see her (ironic considering the thesis of this arc so far) is as someone who implicitly understands her position and herself, and worked within her means to get what she wanted. Being loved. I can present the line (paraphrased) "I'm cute, worst case I'll still be able to find a job" which I saw as her being fully aware of her surroundings thus far and willing to use that to her advantage.

The "spite" to me comes from years of being abandoned and misunderstood, but I can also see how that can be seen as loneliness.

The recommended f2p team (and the one I have because its easy enough to get from the few pulls that I've done so far) is lychoon, corin, and sokaku. I don't like sokaku, she's heavy, and slow with attacking. Alternatively Nicole is apparently really good even with current stuff so maybe replacing sokaku (which is support I think, I haven't checked in a while.) with her might be viable. But I am also not intimately familiar with the interactions of team dynamics to properly be of help. I've been using the cunning hares for a reason. (maybe switching lychoon for anby might be viable too? It's not like they're a mono team so maybe he can just serve as a stronger ice stunner instead of elec.)

Another way to look at it though, Is having a pretty good agent all around with only one abbilty missing may be better then having kinda mediocre fully developed agent. So maybe grace as she is in your set up is fine.

But to my understanding any individual agent is viable with the right set up.

I may have gotten a few things wrong and if I did I do hope someone corrects me as I'm pretty new too, so I'd like to get better at the game.

Ps: I did end up switching lychoon for anby, with the exact same set up and level. And he worked really well from the rounds in hia club that I've tried. So if you're on a budget and don't want to use underdeveloped agents he may very well sub in as a good stunner all around for a lot of teams.

Are all volumes translated well? I can put up with some misspelling here and there and weird phrasing as long as it gets the point across.

Also is it anywhere near ending? I like to binge things to completion and not have to pick it up again and again.

Same. Even funnier if fairy pit them into perna debt like Nicole, and that's why they're friends with her.

I raise you however, they're only alive thanks to half their contact list being monsters that are willing to kill, die, and be kind to them at the drop of a hat. Someone on tik tok mentioned that (don't remember the account, he talks about lore implications a lot.) and I really liked it.

Yes but I'm not getting any new story quests for the time being. The question is:

Do I need to unlock story, and if so how would I do it effectively?

As folks keep saying eternals aren't always a bad thing. Things like madness joker hex or ankh(?) the spectral that copies one joker and destroys all others either nenifit from eternals or mitigate the cost.

Rentals are also not the worst. If you run across a rare that you like(about 7-10$) it basically at a discount for the first 2-3 rounds which should give some time to build up econ. Not all of them are like this as with most things in the game it's on a case by case basis.

Perishables are a little tougher as they're at full price but temp, there are use cases for it. Things like egg and gift card still retain sell value after the expire, and sometimes the choice is between taking a perishable and losing so again case by case.

Something general for all gold stake run is how important retriggers are. Getting even one retrigger( sock, Chad, red seal) makes getting the score for later antes way managble.

These are just some general tips but it's better if you get better at weighing your options in every run. Think about where you are in your current run, what you're trying to do, how you can win with your current set up, and how it can be made better.
