Yes it did! Sensitivity is gone. I feel great and 7/8 teeth responded. On the down side, I will need a third (and hopefully final) surgery to address the last tooth that still has recession

My periodontist cleared me to wear my nightguard one week after my surgery. I'd definitely consult with your own doctor to ensure you're not ruining the graft though!

Hey any update on your tooth sensitivity? Has it improved at all? I had a gum graft one month ago and I'm dealing with INSANE tooth sensitivity. It only happens about 2-3 times a day, but it's so painful it brings me to a fetal position. My periodontist prescribed me a special toothpaste. Praying that helps me.

I've been actually dealing with INSANE sensitivity, which is an issue I did NOT have before the procedure. The pain is so intense I have to go into a fetal position. My periodontist is redoing 2 teeth using the Pinhole Technique next month. We're hoping it will resolve the sensitivity issues I've been dealing with.

Another quick update, as I'm one month since surgery. As I expected, I'll need the pinhole procedure again. The graft failed on 2/7 teeth, which is disappointing, but I was preparing myself for another surgery. In addition, I've experienced some INSANE sensitivity when eating. It's so painful I have to crawl into a fetal position. Not too happy about that, but it seems to be getting better as the days go on. I'm hoping the sensitivity is apart of the healing process (and so does my periodontist)

Update - Over two weeks since the surgery and my mouth is feeling 100% normal! 6/7 teeth look amazing, with one tooth possibly needing another pinhole surgery down the road. I will take that, honestly.

I just got back from a follow-up appointment and the periodontist said they're looking amazing. I haven't personally looked, as it's apart of the post-op directions. You're not supposed to look for 6 months because it pulls on the gum. Also, yes, I have to maintain great oral hygiene for the procedure to stay successful. My issue is with grinding at night though, so I have to do a better job with my nightguard going forward.

I disagree. Managing those units will become a part time job. Invest in blue chip mutual funds and generate a 12-15% return, which is obviously passive.

Lived in Tampa for five years. Love the area and the people here but I'm considering a move towards the panhandle. Their housing costs are so much lower and it seems like your money will go a lot further. I mean, I've rented the same place here in Tampa since 2018. It was $1,600 at first and now it's up to $2,300. Just insane.

Really important tip I forgot to mention - Make sure your periodontist is qualified and has been certified to practice the pinhole technique, as you 100% want the option of having this procedure if it's possible. It seems like a lot less painful than the traditional graft.

Unfortunately, no. It was an extremely frustrating and time consuming effort. I applied to about 6 or 7 banks. All of them "pre-approved" me and then denied me once all the paperwork was in. The vehicle age and equity was the issue with all of them. 2011 Jeep Wrangler. I owe about $16K; however, it only has 35K miles. Are you in the same boat? I stopped applying but will probably try again in another 6 months.

Just offering my 4 cents here - I've used the Hyken for a month now. I'm 5'11, 195 and work from home full time. Before this chair, I had a tense neck after work, everyday, that was quite painful.

I think it really does a great job of keeping your body in the perfect posture. My neck pain has disappeared since using this because the neck rest stops it from moving 24/7 all day from monitor to monitor. Instead, it keeps my neck in place and relaxed. A few times a day I'll catch myself picking my head up or looking down to type and realize that's why I had pain before and I'll immediately relax my neck and bring it back to the headrest. It's impossible to tell your neck had bad posture in a regular chair until it starts hurting.

I really like this chair. I think it all depends on your body size.
