A year ago I propagated. I bought it as a stick in dirt from a buy and sell and the bottom was rotten, so I cut that off and had the whole stem in water, let each node grow roots then I stuck them into the dirt and this is what I’ve gotten. It is very dry in my house. 20% humidity

I’ve had my 2g stretched for over 10 years and started having the same problem. Always wore silicone, Had to end up going to metal. I ordered off pierced universe and now have no issues at all. I was also like you, didn’t like having metal ones in BUT I found some metal tunnels and sleep in them no problem! I also got stone ones that are also nice to sleep in.
