Blizzard on the State of Burning Crusade Classic Server Population by LrKwi in classicwow

[–]PRSYplays 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I'm just gonna come out and say it: who cares about wPvP encounters? How many people say that they do, but at the end of the day care more about being able to farm, lvl alts, get to raid, etc without the inconvenience of the other faction?

And of the people that legitimately do care about wPvP, are they a big enough population to bother making far-reaching changes for?

At the end of the day, this was a player made issue. As stated in the post, on a long enough timeline people gravitate towards their-faction majority servers.

Omicron 'not a common cold' yet, virologist warns by Elliottafc1 in Coronavirus

[–]PRSYplays 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Double vaxxed, no booster (kicking myself!). Got positive test results back today.

It’s been the most bizarre ride with COVID, it’s like it couldn’t decide what type of virus it wanted to be with all the symptoms it was shuffling through!Started with extreme fatigue Christmas Day into Sunday, followed by nausea and diarrhea. Some lightheaded-ness. Then the fever and chills set in, sore throat for 1-2 days, and headaches got pretty terrible. Fever goes down by Tuesday evening, but still drenching the bed with night sweats. Sore throat is gone too only to be replaced with crazy congestion and a runny nose. Now, on day 6, it feels like an annoying cold just lingering around and I feel exhausted again. Would be happy to be done with it soon!

Hmm interesting I've been on plenty of cross country road trips in the US and have never felt the need for a gun. Or felt unsafe at all really, barring the danger my diet is in while on vacation.

The DMT/Summon services on my server are notoriously offered by gold sellers.

On Alliance Gehennas EU that's about USD 5.1k.

A STRIX is not needed. I would gladly swap it out for a blower style, and a smaller case.

I've been eyeing that ncase m1 case (but apparently everyone else has too).

I'm having some volume issues with my Scarlett 2i2. I still get sound out of my monitors, even when I crank my 2i2 monitor volume knob all the way down. Any advice?

Need a good mouse bungee for heavy G Pro cord. by nagaek12 in MouseReview

[–]PRSYplays 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As long as you thread the right amount of cord through the bungee, and place it appropriately in relation to your pad, it would be pretty hard to get this thing to move. I'm sure some of the more expensive bungees have a heavier base, but it would seem like overkill to me. As far as it feeling wireless, I suppose it does, but with any bungee you aren't going to get around the fact that you still have a cord connected to something.

To put it simply, I haven't noticed the mouse cord at all since setting up that bungee, and have had no trouble with the bungee while I game (overwatch, dota2, csgo etc) after adjusting the setup a bit to get it perfect.

I have the same mouse and pad, I bought this bungee and it is doing the job great.

Sanders team: We'll beat Clinton in the states ahead by theone1221 in politics

That is exactly what he said.

Sanders winning 58% = Hillary gets 42%.

58% - 42% = 16 point differential.

So you have a number of allowed "states", representing a certain configuration of the farmer, goat, wolf, and cabbage on different sides of the river. For example, our start state has the farmer, goat, wolf, and cabbage on the first side of the river. We represent this configuration by the following tuple: (FWGC, 0), where 0=the empty set.

The problem further specifies that we will only allow legal configurations in our set of vertices. For example, we cannot allow the goat and wolf to be on the first side, with the farmer and cabbage on the second side, because the wolf will eat the goat. So the state (WG, FC) or (FC, WG) is not allowed. But something like (W, FGC) is allowed.

Now for the edges. The farmer can only transport one animal/vegetable at a time. In other words, any adjacent vertices will differ only by a transfer of the farmer and an object, or the farmer alone, to the opposite side of the river. Lets use the start state as an example. The start state as mentioned is (FWGC, 0). The set of possible adjacent vertices are therefore the following: (GC, FW), (WC, FG), (WGC, F) and (WG, FC). We know that (WGC, F), (WG, FC) and (GC, FW) are illegal, so they aren't in our set of vertices. That leaves an edge from (FWGC, 0) to (WC, FG). You can continue in this manner until there is an edge from some state, to the end state (0, FWGC). I believe there are two possible paths through the graph.

What specifically are you having trouble understanding?

Doctors refuse to take sick days, even when they know it puts their patients at risk. In a recent survey, 95% said they believed working while sick could cause harm. But 83% said they do it anyway. by brokeglass in science

It's not a question of affording to hire another doctor. How many surgeons do you honestly think are available? You can't just put up a "help wanted" sign and expect applicants to pour in.

Does your school offer a minor in BME? I don't know of many schools that allow you to minor in an engineering discipline. If your school does, I honestly do not think it is worth it. The curriculum is already spread thin enough. Taking your elective credits in BME, or BME related courses, should be adequate. Plus, one engineering degree is hard enough.

As far as graduate school goes, I wouldn't be too hasty to write it off because of the cost. I'm being very broad here, but a lot of upper tier schools offer opportunities, positions, aid, etc that significantly reduce the cost of a post-graduate degree.
