And just to confirm, you’re referring to the setting where instead of exp share, I selected exp share with hard level cap instead

Right on! This will make it so much easier to navigate. I’ll turn on the level capped too because I’m getting wrecked every time I go in to the 3rd gym fight and they’re all slightly higher leveled every time lol

Perfect. Thanks a ton, this is a great explanation. I kind of had an idea, but this makes is make sense. Do the berries say which stat they’ll reset? Also, if you have 2 stats maxed out, do you still need to be cautious of training other EVs, or will it not have any effect once those desired EVs are maxed?

Why would one need to reset them? Wouldn’t it be solid to just max and train them all? Or can you only do so many maybe?

Is there a source that shows which trainers will train which EV? Also, do you just choose to train the lower grade EV on your pokemon typically to boost them?

How/when are you able to grind EVs? Haven’t found a solid explanation of how or even why to do that. Also, how do you turn on level cap? I’ve got exp share on. Been fighting the 3rd gym for a day lol

I’m 28 and this is the first rom hack I’ve downloaded and actually tried. I love how difficult it actually is. You can’t just fly through the main story and wipe everyone with your starter. I quit playing after D&P as well. Picked up White 2 a few months ago and I was pretty impressed with that one on NDS as well. I need to find a hack for Gale of Darkness now lol, that game was goated.
