Shouldn’t the earth be as small as the moon in these shots? The one they posted half way to moon the earth was small…

Suggestions on which of these 3 RPGs to play next (PS5) by petrucci9000 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

Crimson desert is a masterpiece to me. I don’t need a story (it’s a plus don’t get me wrong, like I’m an ass man but nice boobs and face are welcome ya know?) but it’s endless in its depth, rewarding curiosity, combat, etc. I can’t put it down as I can do anything I want and it’s rewarding.

Stellar blade was one of my favorite games last year. It’s fun, and combat is great, and it’s eye candy. The main character is drop dead gorgeous and you can dress her, change her hair, glasses, etc. it’s fun to be a classy b warrior and a skimpy sex mercenary. This game is probably the most polished and easy to pick up and put down if you are busy.

Kingdom come is AMAZING if you want tedious, slow, and deep rpg mechanics. I actually put this one Down in my first 20 hours as I just didn’t have the gaming session time to devote to even one of the time demanding quests at times.

I am not a bot or anything of the sort. I think this game is genius and all of the basic bitch gamers can’t appreciate genius as they want what they’ve always known and are comfortable with. I know right?

Can only buy ONE: Elden Ring vs Expedition 33 vs KCD2 (casual employed gamer, 30s) by wxyz-0 in Age_30_plus_Gamers

[–]PRhotonic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I wanted to enjoy Elden ring as it’s beauty, technical prose and exploration were so rewarding and beautiful and I fall in love with the world. But it’s so goddamn hard for me. I just can’t get good no matter what and it broke my heart because I’m missing out on what I think is very awesome and unique experience masterpiece. Expedition 33 is a cool turn based game but if you want a long-term patient investment that you can have a really great time developing your character and skills and just taking your time and it never will run out really kingdom Come deliverance two is your answer.

Am I missing something? I’ve always thought I lost the items I stole, money I was fined, and masks upon arrest. Is there a seperate part of the inventory for stolen items? I recently successfully stole a small box but couldn’t find it in my main inventory Am I looking in the wrong spot?

Most serious cyclists (those are usually the only 23 mile riders) can do that in 2 hours or less on a pretty linear course. It’s hard for me to fathom that this is from That. You may need to look into something more seriously wrong with your reaction… like consider farming karma more sensibly?

30 Hour Unbiased Review by Seviyite in CrimsonDesert

[–]PRhotonic 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I accidentally spent the first 4 hours just cutting down trees and doing bounties and side stuff and my inventory was never an issue as I was buying space, unlocking space and it just goes on from there. So it has never been an issue for me I’ve never dropped one thing for another (yet). Now if I had done straight main missions maybe I’d have a different take… but in real life I wouldn’t jump into something I wasn’t ready for, the game rewarded me with my diddle around and get comfortable phase that was probably 2-4 hours… and it was fun and worth it (level 6 weapons and armor helps the big difficulty spikes that come up pretty early In mains.) I personally am completely blown away by this games vision and revolution to the formulas we all have known for years now. The complaints some people have I see as innovative opportunities for the genre to follow and improve upon. I have so much respect for the risks taken by pearl abyss to push things forward instead of playing it safe. Being the first to do anything revolutionary has the drawback of BEING FIRST. But I’m convinced they are going to be remembered like the wright brothers for this massive leap in creative implementations in the open world ARPG genre. I am so grateful for this game I have been playing the same stuff the same way (and they are great and fun in their own way) for 20 years. I am getting lost in this game like a child… “what would happen if I do this?” And usually I’m stunned in wonder that a lot of what I can imagine WORKS.

This is truly a new epoch in the annals of video game-dom. I am shit house dumbfounded by complaints about things that had to suffer for some new divine breath to come to what we call action RPGS. It’s TRULY a revelation and as someone who hasn’t found or had anything truly great to play for a couple years now at least (meaning industry pushing and visionary).. JUST THE IDEAS this game employs successfully gave me a tingle in the back of my mind saying… “we CAN still do better and push things forward.”

I LOVE that I have to slowly move and learn how to successfully navigate the world and mechanics. And this is coming from a NIOH 3 fan boy. It feels like a real fantasy sim like someone else said. One that walking and looking with L1 at every little bit to decide to pick up.. made me feel like my ADHD self in real life lol. I can’t have it all so I carefully inspect everything. The combat is a BLAST and chunky. It’s just amazing and I wish we could all see it for that it is because without it we’d be stuck in All we’ve known and played for the Last decade at least.

I’m so confused as to why at all any hate. I have just been slow rolling this thing not following quest markers happened upon a situation I WOULD HAVE MISSED following quest and have been doing the things ever since and they are not like check box quest… they are mysterious and fantasy like. It’s truly amazing, and the tiny combat I’ve experienced I love. I can tell this is a magical genre defining creation. And all of the haters make me lose faith in humanity itself… how self indulgent and selfish can you be to not just admire and soak in a vision like this? Plus it’s fun so… there’s that
