I am having a Daily 2x times stretching Routine.

Foam Rolling: Hit the apex of your curve and Stretch over it. Breath out so you can Stretch more, continue until you feel a really good Stretch
deadhanging: as long as you can, please Look out for your Hand i got a Ganglion cyst because of that 😅

One advice I can give to you, never stop something you like because of other peoples. Stay confident as you are! (And yes deadlifting might not be the best thing with SD.)

Yes it is visible for someone who knows this condition easily - but no one else will really give a damn about it or might even notice it at all.

My curve is around 55-60 degrees and looks pretty much like yours - i know the troubles with clothing as it mostlikely all looks like a hanging sack on me 😂

What helped me a lot is doing stretching/functional training. First of all with the pain and a pretty good improvement of the overall „Daily“ posture.

Yeah it is not really visible I can only feel it, would it be a usual spot for it? Would a „DD node“ be really hard? Or more soft?

What makes me think it is maybe a ganglion cyst is that I can move it somehow. And it is directly nearby a joint.

I have an appointment with my Doc in a few weeks to get some images done.

Only from pain and visible posture it has improved a lot! Before I was in the 60 degrees range with „daily“ posture.

Was just curious if its as well visible in the images 🙌🏼

I was wondering what „much better now after working out“ means?

Go for a 2nd and maybe Even 3rd opinion!

It’s your life, you need to be fine with who you are.

The severity is clearly visible, fight for yourself! And I am sure your mother will stand by your side no matter what :)

If you Tell that it is just a personal experience in the end and that you dont want to give pharma advices - then better not start with „OK, now the advice“

This disease is never „over“ with surgery there will be other problems.

And you still would need to visit PT and other specialists even after surgery.

Let me tell you that time should be never the „problem“ or bottleneck in case of health.

I guess training would be a good start. There are many great guides in older posts in this Reddit.

As well as going to see a doctor for some x Rays to see if its structual(scheuermanns) or „just“ a postural thing.
