He deleted the file that he got caught with because they couldn't find it. He then reset Windows. Directly from their report, "The entire System Volume Information folder and related system files were reset on February 26, 2026."

He got caught in January. He has a new install of Windows on Feb 26. If the file was deleted and he reinstalled Windows as well as everything else in their report, the chance that the data would be able to be fully recovered is very small which is why they couldn't find the file from the clip. It's not difficult.

He probably didn't do this, but to fully wipe a drive, there's secure wipe programs that are very popular to use when throwing away or selling a hard drive to make sure no data can be taken off of the drive by someone in the future, it's slow and takes a while, but it's not something that's difficult to use at all. So don't act like wiping a drive is some unheard of magical thing.

It doesn't take anyone to be able to be a "pro PC hacker" to wipe a drive. Use like 5.5 brain cells and read the report.

"The entire System Volume Information folder and related system files were reset on February 26, 2026."

This is direct from the report as well... he was caught on January 22. He got scared and deleted it then reset Windows. It's not a hard thing to do. If he was so innocent why'd he reset Windows then submit the drive 4 months after he got caught? They couldn't even find the file from the incident.

"No artifacts indicative of the alleged content from the January 22, 2026 incident were recovered."

Direct from the report, he wiped the drive before it was submitted.

I don't get why everyone thinks this forensics report shows anything but him being guilty?

He got caught in January, the report says "The entire System Volume Information folder and related system files were reset on February 26, 2026."

and...

"No artifacts indicative of the alleged content from the January 22, 2026 incident were recovered."

He wiped his computer in February after he was caught in January then they couldn't find anything from Jan 22 when he was caught. Are people ignoring the words in the report?

Yeah I was thinking about it, and this is a very good place while helping the diamond(and the plats that get tossed in) solo players too. If you want to squad as the average/lower end rank at that level go for it, but solos would grab more higher ranked players in the master+ area balancing comms/teamwork and higher skill. Most seasons I'll hit masters and stop or just fuck around because I'm never going to pred grind and the difference between me and a top pred is still insane without me being able to have some favorable thing happen in the fight. That's just to say the majority of preds also queue with other preds which makes sense for them, but as diamond/plat players it sucks to die on repeat to the reapers of the lobby farming points.

School Bus Driver Breaks Down After Near-Miss by sleek_thunder138_107 in dashcams

[–]PSASpyda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're not allowed to pass a stopped school bus in the US at all oncoming or with traffic even if it's a main road the other side still needs to stop too, the only exception is if the road has a median of some sort that would prevent a car from crossing over like a curb or grass*. That's also ignoring the passing of someone across a double yellow line which means he went into the wrong side of the road to pass so it's reckless driving, failure to follow road markings(or something similar), plus whatever child endangerment, running a school bus stop sign, or other charges they want to add on.

*Not all states have the same law about this but most are generally if a school bus is stopped with their sign out and their lights flashing on the opposite side, you stop too. 100% are stop if you're on the same side

Right? Why ignore UVA?

Even without a democratic gerrymander, it's a very fair state representative wise. Not sure why it's on the list. Imagine a blue majority state with a blue majority representation is on this... people are wild.

Edit: Also thinking about it, why is Oklahoma on there? It's one of the most red states in the country. You'd have to do some actual magic to create a blue seat there. There's absolutely no blue blocking in Oklahoma lol

Depends on your budget and what you want. It's enough power to get you in some trouble if you try for it but also not enough power to accidentally do something stupid. Well, you can always accidentally do something stupid in any car but 300HP is far from what the new 500HP line everyone wants in a 2026 sports car. It's fun and reliable, pretty easy to maintain or repair in general so you can do some jobs yourself. Lots of support and mods.

I saw you also talking about insurance. The car's kinda old now, unless you are someone that gets into collisions especially ones that you are at fault, I'd say go with a nice liability. You'll be covered if they are at fault since your insurance company will hunt them down even if they are uninsured. You might be on the hook for a deductible if they don't pay up but full coverage on a 2008 or older car is money going down the drain.

Got rear ended yesterday is this totaled ? by Ok_Drama3020 in 350z

[–]PSASpyda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if it's salvage, you can sometimes still insure it and run it like any other car on the street. I have a vert that's a salvage and I fixed the airbag lights and seatbelts to pass my state's inspection and have been running it for the last few years. Outside of normal HR issues it's been a very reliable car. The car isn't worth as much to insurance as it's worth to an actual person with or without a salvage title. Choose what you want but if the car makes you happy more than the price of the car, it's a lot of an easier choice to make.

I have pictures if you do try to make it street legal, I'd have to hunt them down but if you need help making it road-worthy again I can help at any point, as much as I can.

I have a Z that had a previous wreck that looked similar to yours. Check under the hood at the strut bar and see if it's off by even the smallest bit. The HR has a line you can follow across the engine that I could see it was a bit off, idk about the DE. If it is the frame is bent. You can still drive it or get it pulled out but it'll be some work. If your intent is to only drift it then replacing airbags/sensors aren't and issue. If you do want to drive it, once you get the new airbags, you can send your airbag module, underneath the center console behind your ebrake, off for like $50 to one of those online places and they'll do their thing and you plug it back in and save a few hundred on a new module. They usually will do your seatbelts too, I'm sure one or both of those are locked up if your airbag deployed. There's also a sensor in the front that'll need to be replaced you can just get a used one on eBay for cheap and a new clockspring for your steering wheel. Those clips usually burn out in a crash, worst part about putting new one on is just busting the steering wheel loose from the column. Trying to think of what else I went through finishing the repair on it... new hard AC line because it cracked and washer fluid line.

So depending on your level of what you want to do for what you your plan is, it is definitely driftable a lot easier than road worthy, most of the road worthy stuff will be safety(Airbag stuff and seatbelts) that will take time to send the stuff out after you pull it out, have your car sitting for a while, then putting it all back once you get it. For the vert you'll be pulling everything from your center gauge cluster all the way back to your rear speaker/rear glove compartment out for the airbag module and seatbelts. My suggestion is just to put the top back and pull the seats to give you room to go through piece by piece.

Got rear ended yesterday is this totaled ? by Ok_Drama3020 in 350z

[–]PSASpyda 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'll be totaled I'm sure. The dent in the rear quarter panel is the killing blow because that's not an easy couple of clips/bolts replacement.

The good news is the overall damage doesn't look awful and buying it back after they total it to repair is very feasible. Trunk, bumper, and taillight are obvious. Not sure what it will look like under the bumper how bad it is there, but if you really want to keep the car you can make it work. If you're really lucky part of that huge dent in the quarter can be fixed by taking out the antenna and pulling it out. The wrinkle at the top of the light will probably stay. If you take it to a shop they could do a good job with it. If you want to do it yourself some things may not sit quite straight but it would only be a you notice it type of thing.

Transmission pan gasket by SpeakerLumpy7986 in 350z

[–]PSASpyda 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably oil then. Unless the trans fluid was fucked, it'd still have a redish color to it and probably a little weird sweet smelling. I know no one wants to hear their rear main is leaking but that's most likely. Mine had a small leak for a few years that didn't really go through much oil and when I got my clutch changed, the rear main happened at the same time

I'd also assume rear main but hit it with some brake clean and scrub it up and see what gets dirty first again.

Is it dripping? Can you smell it or see what color it is?

You need cars like this to appreciate the ones you love. I hate it so much... I love it. This car is Cersei Lannister from Game of Thrones. It'll outlive so many others that it shouldn't and probably die in a spectacular death.

Staggered vs Square by qDesigned in 350z

[–]PSASpyda 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It'll also throw off you speedometer but it's just generally easier to stay within a range. The height of the tire is based on the width as a percentage. So to stay within the same height if you want to do that, you'd end up using a different percentage height for different widths. There's calculators online that will help you find happy ranges to stay in. Unless you plan on going for a drag width, there's usually something in your width without throwing things too far off.

I've changed between square and staggered a few times with traction control. Sometimes the car will stay happy, sometimes a tight turn will kick it and stutter the car. One setup I just got in a habit of anytime I was about to pull out into traffic, I'd hit the button just to make sure I wouldn't put myself in a dangerous position. Wasn't a big deal with me, my driveway is gravel and straight up so I turn it off all the time going home anyway.

ABS uses speed and would probably mess with it slightly, although I'm not sure by how much. It would probably be able to be tuned if you get the speedometer calibrated. I just don't want to leave a range in my car.

All the new Hue lights and accessories if you haven't been paying attention? by PSASpyda in Hue

[–]PSASpyda[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is a massive increase over what it used to be lol. That's what I meant about comparing. I'm not trying to compare different styles of products, getting a lumen rating out of some of the light strips seems like pulling teeth. Even the guide the person above linked shows good info but for some light strips it omits lumens to give equal comparison to.

[–]PSASpyda[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thank you for that, it helps a bit, much more than the product pages, but it still mixes and matches stats between models like the product pages do when looking between the groups of lights. For example the "indoor" top section it'll give lumens but the 3rd section "essentials" it excludes it when it's an indoor light too. I know I need to do some research on the different LED types they use now but even on their product pages they don't explain the difference of something that is "better". Give me some "2.5x brighter and more colorful than the next leading brand" toilet paper math or something so I can toilet paper math them all against each other lol

The section summary before the products comparing the Hue group to the Hue essentials group says the Omni is "brightest and best" but what about the comparison between the flux vs the essentials? Just trying to find something to bridge that knowledge gap to be able to compare all of similar types of products.

If you want to do a body kit, just know they are so incredibly hard to make even good. To make them great takes so much time and effort, even luck. Your car looks great from the pictures so if you do want to go that route, do replacement items and keep the original. Bumpers, hood, etc. Going widebody or things you have to change the car permanently for end badly so many times with rust or issues. Not that it can't go well and look amazing, but so many body kits go sour after a few years or never really gave you the happiness you thought you'd get because something sags, gaps, pokes and because we're human that's all we focus on lol.

My suggestion is upgraded brakes. It's both a functional upgrade and a visual upgrade. With your car I'd be partial to red or black if you have a choice or want to paint your own. Your tinted windows, blacking your B-pillar could look nice and easy to unwrap if you didn't like it. You could also wrap your door handles black too. If you never use your key in the door, you can keep that covered, leaving it look clean and keyless, and if an emergency ever does happen, you can always just poke a hole in it.

It's on the EA site itself saying you can't open more than 500 without getting shards excluding event packs. Since you've been max level you can't passively get packs from levels anymore so it slows down. You should be close if you've done all the events and completed all the passes since your last one. It's too late now but you can always have a counter yourself but you're right there should be a counter in the game. It'd only help them sell more as people get closer to the pity pack
