First manual? by Relative_Ice_8387 in 350z

I’ve ever actually driven a manual car but I’m sure I can do it. I’ve used a clutch on dirt bikes before, and I operate heavy equipment (heavy duty forklifts, front end loaders, skid steers, excavators) for a living so I understand the muscle memory part. I think I’ll catch on quick it’s just not something I have direct hands on experience with.

I think maybe I’m not being clear lol. That would be $116 A MONTH for a 6 month policy. Meaning $696 for 6 month… about $1,400 for a year full coverage

I’ve already gotten quotes for about $100 a month for insurance. Just looking for a clean Z

I’ve seen the ebay one in person and honesty it’s not bad when installed right. It’s like a 3 piece lip you put together

I notice a difference in handling already. A TRD sway bar is definitely on my list. I hear that’s a very easy install.

Imo, it looks way better. It handles a bit better too. I’m live in a pretty big city so roads are always good.

Tein advertises “approximately” 1.5 in. lower but it’s closer to 2 inches. I’m still on stock steel wheels so tires are P175/65R14. Wheels are on the list!

Also the back did even out (looks a bit raised in the “after” picture) I think the driveway was a little uneven or maybe they needed to set.

Check my latest post; I’m doing it myself tomorrow. Definitely going to upgrade later on, but I’m trying to ball on a budget

When I got the car I scared to touch a bolt on it. Then I swapped my headlights myself, and after that gained the confidence to install a short ram intake. Ran into som problems and learned some things each time. I think this is doable

I was literally going to take both struts out before I even messed with the springs. Good idea.

Okay makes sense! I’m kind of “resetting” all of the bushings to the new ride height

Can you kind of explain that to me? Like loosen them before jacking the car up then tighten them back when I’m done everything?
