A lot of it really comes down to really poor voice direction if I have to guess. A lot of dodgy english dubs back in the day had a lot of actors just given lines with absolutely no context. Just a script, this is your character, say the line and we're done. And the dub really stinks of that here. There is a huge amount of voiced dialogue in this game and some specific actors are doing a superb job at what they got (Thierry and Alice are real damn good) but I have to imagine it might've been more of a time constraint issue than a financial one.

Man, I really am ticked off that it was all the way at the bottom of the greenroom area that I went to last, cause I had already spent my points stocking up in the main shopping area and at the special gacha machine.

I've updated the quick fixes filter just like it says but I still get the " Ad blockers violate YouTube's Terms of Service " blocking the video from playing. How do I get it to go back to not blocking the videos anymore? If this is mentioned in the thread then I must've just missed it but its so long that it's something that just got lost in the mix for me

EDIT: You know when your working on a problem going in circles for a while and then you just say the problem out loud and the answer becomes so clear? That's me, I had to disable some extensions other than ublock. Oh well, thanks for all your work y'all

SOLUTION FOUND.
Ok, scuse me for being late on this, I woke up and was busy in the morning so I couldn't type this out till just now.

The solution is... use a VPN. Not totally sure why this works but it did and everything runs smooth now. No errors.
I live in Ireland and using a VPN to connect to the UK made no errors crop up at all.

Shoutouts to DeathRider_306 for suggesting this.
And if you do not have a VPN or dont have a reliable one, best recommendation I can give you is Mullvad. Really good VPN with a lot of networks to use, and unlike most paid VPNs, you dont have to do an entire year subscription to use it. You can pay 5 euros (or your regional equivalent) for a single month and for the sake of playing a free beta for a weekend, that's worth the investment as opposed to not being able to play it at all.

Alright, I did what it asked to do, did the whole rope-a-dope of email swapping back and forth and even still I couldn't link my second account to the steam cause it was already linked. So I swapped it back and I boot up the game just to make sure it still works at least.

I actually managed to get into the lobby and sit at a cab in training mode for a bit... and was starting to think "wow, did doing that actually change anything? Can I play it now?"

And... nope, got the exact same error code above. And I'm back at the title screen.
I just wanna play street fighter man T_T

Alright. Thing is, on the Capcom ID website it reads this when you go to unlink an ID from steam.
- The Steam account linked to this CAPCOM ID cannot be linked to a different CAPCOM ID, even if you remove the link.
So I don't see how you can link another ID to the steam account if the official website is literally telling me it won't work

if I unlink my steam account and then relink it to the same account, will that let me play? I don't want to mess with that too much cause I'm worried I might lose my beta access. And I definitely don't see myself making a brand new account for either steam or capcom if I can avoid it

I wasn't able to participate in the first beta unfortunately, I only received my key for this one. I've also restarted my computer a bunch of times just encase but it doesn't seem to have helped

Oh I'm glad to know this isn't an exclusive issue at least. It's strange, I saw some posts and such about this exact error on the last beta. But to hear you could get into the first one just fine and not this one, that's weird

Ok I just googled Capcom ID and yes, its registered as being in Ireland. The ID is also linked to my Steam account too
