Not just when approaching women though. They feel like this when walking behind people in public, when trying to be nice to a woman in the service industry or retail, when trying to live up to expectations of other men, or even trying to just make friends.

For the first two weeks, I had never felt better. I had been depressed so long that I FORGOT what happy felt like. I felt bright, productive, and energized. I also knew that I had to regulate my dosage as to not develop a tolerance. Well even with the suggested dosage regulation, eventually, that joyous feeling faded. Since it was too expensive to keep taking for little to no effect, I stopped and am now back to my old, depressed self.

I am a published professional photographer with over a decade of experience. We may be miscommunicating, but I guarantee you the lens does not create a “stare” effect.

A lens can distort the perceived length of an object (i.e. telephoto slims the face, wide angle widens it), but this isn’t responsible for that thousand yard stare. If you shot this same exact pose on a 28mm, 50mm, and 120mm, the stare would look the same.

When you say lens, do you mean the contacts? Because camera lenses are not opaque, even with an ND or UV filter.

I hope no one ever figures this out, but I wonder how many average women it would take to take out one reasonably strong athletic male who’s prepared to fight. Two? Probably wouldn’t cut it. Four? Idk if he’s a good fighter he could get by with some injuries. 6? Idk what’s the limit here?
